Today (*********) I rode the Megabus from NYC to Washington, DC. The bus was scheduled to depart NYC at *:**. However, there was a lady on the bus who the driver was trying to force off. She refused to get off of the bus because she was claiming that she was supposed to be there. She got on the phone with Megabus to complain while everyone already on the bus was forced to sit there for over ** min. The bus driver would not turn on the bus and it became unbearale sitting in that bus on a scorching summer day. **I’m not sure who was right in the end, but regardless, Megabus did not handle this situation properly. They should have removed this lady from the bus or allowed her to stay on in a much more timely manner. Additionally, they should have prioritized the comfort of the passengers already on board by running the air conditioning while they waited instead of forcing us to sit in an incredibly hot bus and overhear. **I have taken Megabus before and very much value their service. This is the first time I have had a problem like this. I truly hope Megabus will take the proper steps to make this right.
