Hello, I booked a reservation through another website for *am from Boston to New York and I wanted it for Saturday August **, **** but somehow the website directed it to Sunday August **, **** for *am from Boston to New York. I had already got to the Boston bus terminal and I spoke to the employee for megabus that was boarding and told him my mistake. The employee told me I would be able to get a full reimbursement*refund and just pay him $** cash to get on the bus. He continued saying that I must not tell the company that I got on the bus and paid him directly or I won’t get the refund just tell them I no longer want to ride. Something was not resignating with me so I searched your policy for cancellations and refunds and saw that I won’t be able to receive a refund. I went up to the driver and told him what I just found out about the policy and asked if he can work with me and give me my money back or some of my money back and I no longer want to ride. He ignores me and drives. I did not want to cause a seen and I asked him respectfully if he can work with me. He said I’m already driving you paid me already, have a seat. I tried several times to try to talk to him and asked other passageners if they were in the same situation as me about three people said they gave him different amounts of money to get on the bus. At some point he gets relieved and I tried talking to him again he disrespected me calling me out of my name and said I won’t get my money have a seat unless I want to be stranded. Now I had no choice but to get back to my seat and once I arrived I tried to talk to the second driver and he said he cannot help me because he doesn’t know the other driver. Now I do not know what I can do at this moment this has been very stressful I needed to get on the bus because I had a passing in my family and this just added more stress for me.
