I am in urgent need of a refund for a subscription to Recruiter Lite that I unwittingly signed up for out of curiosity. Despite not having a business or any intention to recruit, an automatic payment of £99.98 was deducted today after the free trial ended on the 28th of April. Unfortunately, I missed the reminder due to illness and would have canceled immediately if I had seen it. As a 70-year-old pensioner living on a limited income, this unexpected charge has left me in a dire financial situation of only £60 to cover my expenses this week, pushing me into overdraft and incurring further bank fees. I have already canceled the subscription and am appealing for a speedy refund from a reputable company like Linkedin. Your understanding and prompt assistance in resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Lola C.

Hello, On April 17, I created an account with 1stopkoreahr. I was under the impression that payment would be due on May 17. I signed up for the 'recruiter' service, thinking it was free for the first month, and posted a job ad. However, I was charged $[redacted].63 on April 26 using my company credit card without receiving a receipt email. Additionally, I am unable to access my account to verify my personal information. I kindly request the payment to be canceled, allowing me to regain access. Once I'm back in, I plan to cancel my subscription and review the charges. Could you please provide guidance on reactivating my account in the future? Thank you for your support. Best regards, Catherine

In fall [redacted], I suspected my LinkedIn account was hacked. When trying to log in, I had to access it through my email inbox and search for past messages. Later, in December, I created a new account but couldn't find the edit icon to update my profile. Although I uploaded a new photo, it only shows on one of my accounts, not the latest. LinkedIn won't let me merge them for easier use. I can only find my account by searching as Michael Sterzel Winans or Winans Sterzel due to many similar accounts. One account lacks a recent photo and any connections, while the other shows my contacts in the "people also looked at" section, which is new and confusing. This situation is frustrating and hindering my job search.

I am a college student and recently joined LinkedIn based on my parents' recommendation. I accidentally signed up for a recruiter account, but I am just a student looking for a summer internship. I tried to cancel it shortly after, but I missed the deadline and cannot get a refund. The order ID for my account is [redacted]. Even though I called a few hours past the cancellation window, I believe that LinkedIn should consider honoring my refund request and providing good customer service. Thank you.

Hello, I am currently using Sales Navigator. When I review leads, I find it challenging to determine if the profiles are active or abandoned. It's important for me to distinguish active accounts from inactive ones, especially since I pay a significant monthly fee for this membership. At times, I have to check for recent activity by clicking on "users who posted in the last few days," but this method isn't always effective. Users may have longstanding job positions, and I can't ascertain if it's their current role or if they haven't engaged with LinkedIn for years. While I can see their likes, this isn't a reliable indicator of activity. I believe there must be a feature that I've overlooked to differentiate between active and non-active accounts. I would greatly appreciate any guidance you can provide on this matter. If there isn't a solution, I hope for some form of reimbursement, as I utilize my Inmail credits on potentially inactive users. I value my membership but require a resolution to this inconvenience for premium members. Thank you for your attention, and I eagerly await your response. P.S. I have encountered immense difficulty trying to contact customer support through email or filing a case on LinkedIn. It's frustrating to face these challenges despite paying a hefty monthly fee for the service.

To whom it may concern, I recently spent more than 40 minutes attempting to 'file a case' and submit an account review, only to be informed that I am not eligible for a refund on my account. I was charged on April 20th for an annual premium service fee. As I am starting my own business, I am unable to afford this expense. EU law states I am entitled to a refund within 14 days of subscribing to a service (this information is also on the LinkedIn website). Hence, I request LinkedIn to promptly credit the annual premium service charge. While I could have canceled the day before the renewal, my focus shifted due to my mother's cancer diagnosis. The bill is now on my credit card, and I am unable to cover the cost. I would appreciate a swift resolution to this matter. You can reach me at [redacted] or [redacted] Thank you, Sharon (Dublin, Ireland)

I have been a member of LinkedIn for many years, and three weeks ago, $[redacted].00 was charged to my debit card for a 12-month subscription instead of monthly. This unexpected charge has caused my account to be overdrawn, accruing daily fees. As I am on a fixed income, I am struggling to pay my bills. I have a case number with billing support, but I urgently need the funds refunded to my account. To alleviate my financial burden, I would like to switch to a basic monthly account moving forward. Your prompt assistance in returning the funds would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your support. Sincerely, J.I. Henry

I encountered an issue with my Linkedin account that required correcting my profile name from my company name to my real name. Despite submitting my driver's license and then my passport as requested for verification, I received a message stating that my identification could not be approved for reasons such as the type of ID not being supported or not being readable. I am at a loss as I did everything asked, and even after sending in my passport, the issue persists without further guidance. The automated emails from Linkedin are unhelpful, and I am considering closing my account if this cannot be resolved promptly. Thank you. - Nat

Hello, I am Faiza Ahsan Khan from Pakistan. I am a dedicated LinkedIn user. Recently, I utilized the free trial premium account and unknowingly incurred charges for posting jobs. I assumed it was part of the free premium features and only realized when I was billed $[redacted]. I am disappointed that LinkedIn did not notify me before using my default card for payment. I have canceled my subscription and removed the jobs. I am seeking a refund or compensation for this issue. I am quite upset and frustrated and would appreciate guidance on the next steps to address this situation.

Hello, I am seeking assistance. Unfortunately, I was unable to cancel the upgrade to Pro within the 30-day window due to health issues. I had a week-long migraine followed by medical emergencies involving my son. I emailed immediately after noticing the failed transaction, explaining my financial difficulties and requesting not to proceed with the payment. Despite this, the funds were deducted from my account. This has left me with only $[redacted] to support my family for two weeks. I kindly ask for the upgrade to be postponed and for a refund to be processed promptly. I am currently relying solely on emergency government assistance due to the circumstances I explained in my email. I am in a critical situation, struggling to afford food for my family and in urgent need of compassion and understanding. Please, could you assist me with a refund as soon as possible? Your help is greatly appreciated. Thank you. - C. Egan

My email addresses, [redacted] and [redacted], are no longer working. This issue is affecting my receipt of emails from LinkedIn and potentially my ability to renew my premium membership. Unfortunately, I cannot locate my password, which is unusual as I typically keep records of my passwords. The simultaneous loss of my email addresses and password is causing difficulty in resolving this matter. After spending a significant amount of time on this issue and encountering a request for my passport, I am seeking a simple solution: to delete the old email addresses and replace them with my new email, [redacted] If clarification is needed, please call me at 0[redacted]64. Thank you for your assistance. Seamus MacLochlainn.

I signed up for a one-month free trial of the premium service but was unexpectedly charged Rs.[redacted] for a full year subscription on May 1 at 7:19am, way before my trial period was set to end by midnight on the same day. Despite sending two complaints to customer care, I have not received any response so far. After browsing the help forum, it appears that many others are experiencing the same issue of LinkedIn deducting money without prior notice. Some users got refunds through online chat with customer care, while others are still waiting. I have already canceled my subscription and no longer wish to keep my LinkedIn account. How can I go about getting a refund for the unauthorized charge?

I am seeking assistance to connect with customer care representatives. I signed up for a 1-month free trial of a premium service and was unexpectedly charged for a full year subscription of Rs.[redacted] on May 1 at 7:19 am, well before the trial end date of "by May 1" at midnight. I have lodged a complaint with customer care but have yet to receive a response. Upon browsing the help forum, I discovered numerous others facing the same situation of sudden unauthorized deductions by LinkedIn. While some have been able to secure refunds after engaging in online chat with customer service, many are still awaiting resolution. I have raised this issue on LinkedIn's social media platforms and intend to escalate it to my own social media channels, website, and national newspapers. I am urgently requesting a refund and to permanently close my LinkedIn account due to this matter.

Good morning, LinkedIn. I am Sabrine Zghida, a second-year research master's student in entrepreneurship at the Higher Institute of Management of Sousse (ISG). I am reaching out via email regarding my restricted LinkedIn account. I am unsure why this restriction occurred and believe it was a misunderstanding. As part of my research, I rely on contacting individuals daily to complete my report on time. This restriction has caused a disruption in my work. The deadline for my report submission is approaching in a few weeks. I kindly request the reactivation of my account to continue my important research. I appreciate your assistance in this matter. Thank you for your understanding. Best regards,

I recently noticed an unauthorized debit of Rs 26,[redacted] from my salary account. I did not authorize any subscription. Although I had a free one-month premium trial on LinkedIn and saved my card details, I was supposed to receive a message to cancel if I did not wish to continue. However, no such message was received, and the amount was deducted. This appears to be a fraudulent transaction. I am seeking a prompt refund as I did not make this transaction. If the refund is not processed soon, I will have to report this as fraud.

I am seeking assistance as I am unable to locate the correct email address to address this matter. I wish to challenge the charges on my credit card for the premium account. After signing up for the free trial, I was promised an alert before being billed. Disappointingly, no such notifications were received through email or any other means. Despite canceling the premium account, my card was still charged, which I discovered by chance just two days after the payment was processed. Since I have deactivated the account and won't access the "paid month," I am requesting a refund. I possess a screenshot of the email notification that indicated I would be informed before any charges. If you are not the appropriate contact for this, I apologize. My attempts to resolve the issue through LinkedIn's contact or help center have been fruitless. I would appreciate any guidance you could offer. Thank you for your attention. Sincerely, A.B.

I am writing to address a concern regarding my close friend Rakhee Tiwari, who recently had her account charged by LinkedIn without authorization. The complaint number associated with this issue is Money got deducted [Case: [redacted]65]. Rakhee initially signed up for the Sales Navigator Feature free trial from April 12th to May 12th, expecting job postings and In-mails to be free. However, upon posting a job, she was charged before the trial period ended, without prior notification. The deduction was made without requesting her bank details again for permission, which would have alerted her to potential fees. Rakhee is requesting an immediate refund of the deducted amount. Dear Customer Support, I am writing to report an urgent issue with a deduction of R5835.12 from my company account by LinkedIn without my authorization. I only have a business platform access contract with LinkedIn and have not made any purchases recently. I believe this unauthorized deduction may be a result of a security breach on LinkedIn's end. I have attached scans of my identity card and driver's license for verification purposes. I request an immediate refund of this transaction. Please address this matter promptly to resolve the issue. Alternatively, you can contact my husband, Tyrone Meintjes, in South Africa at [redacted]. Thank you for your assistance. Sincerely, Araura L. M.
