I am requesting assistance to access my LinkedIn account created in November of [redacted]. Unfortunately, I can no longer access the login email linked to my student account from [redacted] I believed I had included [redacted] as a secondary email, but I have not received a password reset email. This morning, I submitted photos of my current ID for verification. My name is Kyle Patrick Urban, a former University of Kansas student now residing in Chicago, IL. I have not been active on LinkedIn for a while, but I now realize the significance of updating my profile and utilizing the platform for career opportunities. I would greatly appreciate guidance on re-accessing my account to update my profile and enhance my career prospects. Thank you for your assistance, and I commit to maintaining an up-to-date presence on LinkedIn going forward.

Recently, all my contacts received an email from my account regarding a Google and Ebay Evaluation Program. Additionally, I received an email from LinkedIn stating that the email address [redacted] was added to my LinkedIn account. LinkedIn provided steps to remove the email if needed. However, clicking the link led to a request for a picture of my ID, which I am hesitant to provide. My previous account email was [redacted], but I am unable to log in now.

Subject: Jumio ID Verification for Appeal [Case: [redacted]53] Hello Everyone, I haven't had the opportunity to check my Gmail inbox recently as I've been quite busy over the past month. However, today I noticed some suspicious activity in my account dating back around two months. Firstly, I had to change my password despite not recalling doing so. Subsequently, my account was restricted. I submitted my ID for verification, but only now have I revisited my account to find an unrecognized charge of approximately MXN $[redacted] from LinkedIn on my bank statement. I am a regular LinkedIn user and not a premium subscriber, so this charge is puzzling. Can someone please investigate why this charge appeared, especially during a time when my account was restricted? Another issue I encountered is the inability to reach your support team. The contact us option on your page prompts me to sign in, which I can't currently do. How can I resolve this without signing in? Thank you for your assistance. Best regards, Cristal A.

My account was compromised, leading to unauthorized changes and spam emails sent to my contacts. Despite the initial block, LinkedIn reopened it after requesting a verification process. Unfortunately, my details and contacts remained affected. In the midst of this, the hacker attempted to contact me again, indicating an ongoing issue. Unexpectedly, my account was blocked again without an explanation, requiring another verification process for reopening. The continuous misuse of my account is tarnishing my reputation, prompting a need for damage control. I urge LinkedIn to address this situation promptly by removing the spam emails and providing support to mitigate the negative repercussions. Additionally, enhancing security measures to prevent such incidents in the future is essential.

Last night, my LinkedIn account was hacked. I received an email from LinkedIn on November 7, [redacted], at 7:24 PM, notifying me that my password was changed. When I tried to regain access, I realized the only email linked to LinkedIn was the one where the password change notification was sent. I'm unable to access my account, and others have informed me of suspicious message activity misusing my profile to offer a job for $10MM-$15MM. I received a similar dubious message earlier from an alleged drilling engineer, which I foolishly engaged with and then deleted. I've completed a hacked account form but haven't received a response yet. Building a contact list of over [redacted]+ connections in 5 years, I urgently need access restored. Please assist promptly. You can reach me on my phone at [redacted].

I recently began handling all social media for a company, using a business account connected to a former employee's email. The IT department restored access to the ex-employee's email to reset the LinkedIn password. I attempted to recover the account by changing the password through the ex-employee's email. However, only the personal page linked to our business account is accessible, not the business page itself. It appears the ex-employee might have unlinked the accounts. I'm puzzled about how to access the business page. I have exhausted my ideas and feel stuck. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, I have not signed up for LinkedIn, but I am concerned about the authenticity of some profiles on the platform. I've been informed by professionals that individuals on LinkedIn should be truthful about their education. However, I have come across some profiles where people have listed degrees without actually attending the respective institutions. Here are a couple of examples: - Nirvair Parmar (Neeru Parmar) - claims to have degrees from Canada and India, but they appear to be false. - Saleena Kad - listed a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology and a paralegal diploma from Seneca College despite not having these qualifications. I'm wondering if LinkedIn verifies people's credentials. Could you please look into these profiles, specifically the ones mentioned above? Thank you. Best regards, Amarjit

To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to address an issue with my LinkedIn account. Regrettably, I find myself locked out after many years of use due to not updating my phone number. Despite numerous attempts to resolve this matter by providing my state identification, there has been no assistance from your support team. The 2-step verification is impossible for me to complete as the old number is no longer in use. My repeated calls to your company have not yielded any response. I am urgently requesting a phone call from a live representative to rectify this matter promptly. Attached is my new contact number, [redacted]. This ongoing problem has persisted for six months, causing significant inconvenience and financial loss. Your immediate attention to this issue is crucial. If this is not resolved by close of business today, I will escalate this matter to the appropriate authorities. Your prompt assistance in unlocking my account is greatly appreciated. Sincerely, Levon Washington

To whom it may concern, I am writing to address my ongoing account access issue. Unfortunately, I have been unable to access my account for the past 4 to 6 months. Despite following all the steps outlined on your website, I have not been successful in regaining access. I had forgotten about setting up 2-step verification and was unable to update my phone number, which has led to being completely locked out of my account. Attempts to contact your company via phone have been unfruitful, with no resolution provided. I urgently require assistance in unlocking my account. Despite submitting my identification multiple times, the issue remains unresolved. A prompt resolution to this matter is crucial as I am experiencing financial losses. I kindly request a phone call from a representative to help resolve this issue promptly. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Sincerely, Levon Washington

Upon signing into LinkedIn to update my profile, I was surprised to see a message informing me that my account has been restricted due to a violation of the terms of service. The restriction requires me to verify my identity with a government ID, which I am hesitant to do without discussing it with customer service first. Unfortunately, my attempts to reach out for assistance have been unsuccessful, leaving me unable to rectify the situation. I want to clarify that I have recently joined LinkedIn and have not engaged in any behavior that goes against the terms of service. I am keen on having my account reinstated promptly so that I may resume using the platform, or at the very least, receive an explanation for the restriction placed on my account.

I received an email from Peter Beths Weber on LinkedIn that seemed suspicious. Here is the content of the email: Hello, I hope you are well today. While searching for an acquaintance, I stumbled upon your profile. I must say, you are quite attractive. I want to be transparent in my admiration and not just offer empty compliments. I respect that this platform is for business networking and not for dating or socializing, and I have no intention of using it for that. Your profile stood out to me, and I would like to communicate further and share more about myself with you. I also look forward to learning more about you if you are single and interested in continuing our conversation. I believe that anything is possible when we unite our minds and hearts, just as I believe that good things can be discovered in unexpected places. I hope to hear from you soon. Take care and stay blessed. Best regards, Peter.

Hello, I am experiencing difficulties updating my primary email on my account. The original email I used is inaccessible, and I am unable to reset the password or verify a new email. I mistakenly created a duplicate account with my personal email in an attempt to resolve the issue, but I am now stuck. I would greatly appreciate it if you could manually change my new email to the primary one on my original account to solve this problem. Your assistance in resolving this matter would be highly valued. Thank you, Dhruvit Z.

We are currently posting job openings on LinkedIn. We used to use the old method that required credits for each posting, but we have run out and cannot top them up. Is there a way to continue using the old system? There is an issue with the Location field when creating a job posting. Malta is missing from the drop-down menu, with the closest option being "Valetta, Malta." However, Valletta is spelled incorrectly, and the job is actually based in another Maltese town. When trying to save draft versions of job postings, an error message appears: "Oops! An unexpected error occurred. Please try again." This issue is causing delays in posting the vacancies promptly. I would appreciate a prompt response. Thank you.

I was charged for LinkedIn Learning Premium today without realizing my trial had ended. The lack of email notification from LinkedIn about my trial ending is disappointing. Had I been informed, I would have canceled the subscription before the charge. I may consider utilizing the premium features in the future, but this time I was only exploring LinkedIn Learning due to time constraints. The premium month I was charged for will go unused, as I couldn't make the most of the trial either. I kindly request a refund for the charged amount, as I currently lack the time to dedicate to LinkedIn. Thank you. Shoaib

Hello, I'm Cory Hoehn, the Corporate Recruiter for C4 Connections based in St. Louis, Missouri. I recently discovered job listings on LinkedIn using our company's name and logo in areas where we are not hiring. The ad copy is subpar and doesn't align with our standards. I tested one of these listings and received a response from "Neuvoo." I kindly ask LinkedIn Jobs for help in identifying the source of these inappropriate listings as they are damaging to our brand. Hello Team, I am shocked by the money deduction from LinkedIn. I clicked on the "post a job for free" link on my personal LinkedIn page and posted a job, but nowhere did it mention that there was a payment involved. At checkout, it showed my total billing as $0.00, and I did not receive any emails detailing the job posting price or payment information. Without any mention of a payment cycle, I cancelled the job post. To my dismay, $[redacted].79 was deducted on November 6th. I am in a tough spot with no immediate customer support available. Starting my career in Singapore with family responsibilities, I trusted LinkedIn to help me progress. Now, I face financial difficulties. I hope for a resolution as I never received any communication about the payment process from LinkedIn. Order Id#[redacted] Card ending in [redacted] Transaction Date: November 6th, [redacted]

I recently received a friend request from a Jake Kaskey. However, I'm concerned as Jake passed away a few years ago after moving to Los Angeles. His profile seems to be active, but I remember that he had issues with hacking in the past. The posts on the profile do not match Jake's usual style of communication; they seem off. It's unsettling to think that someone might be accessing his account and sending friend requests. I should have reported it earlier, but I didn't. If anyone has information about this, please reach me at [redacted] or [redacted].

Hello, Previously, LinkedIn addressed the issue with not being able to save changes on profiles. Despite their message, the problem persists.
