Here's a tip so Lenovo can more easily help some customers. Yesterday my laptop was "frozen"--couldn't turn it off, & it wouldn't move past the screen with Lenovo on it. **The Internet connection was fine, I'd tried rebooting several times, so I called Lenovo. The man seemed impatient and unfriendly: told me it was past the warranty date, so I'd need to take the laptop to a local dealer. I explained I'm disabled, can't leave my home. He then said I'd have to wait till Monday to contact Tech Help by phone. **So I called a friend--he told me to take the battery out--let everything cool down, & put the battery back in and see what happened. Worked like a charm! **WHY couldn't the Lenovo dude I spoke with have offered that simple tip?? Seems like it should have been first or *nd on his list of suggestions for me--he'd have been a hero, and I would have been a loyal return customer. **I'm now debating whether to buy another Lenovo laptop--I'd like assurance that they could step up their game and offer a little more "simple" helps before passing me off to a local dealer or the Monday tech person. **What do you think?
