Subject: Urgent Issue with LastPass App Date: 12/28/[redacted] To Whom It May Concern at LastPass Support, I recently installed the LastPass app on my Android 9 (Pie) phone from the Google Play Store. After successfully creating and setting up a free account, including adding fingerprint access, I encountered a problem. The app worked well initially, allowing me to input and update information in my vault using my fingerprint. However, after a day, I am unable to log in. The fingerprint option has disappeared, and my master password and hint are not working. Offline and online login attempts have also been unsuccessful. Furthermore, I noticed an issue with the LastPass autofill feature displaying an X symbol, redirecting me to the login page where my password fails. This feature becomes problematic when LastPass is not functioning correctly. I rely on LastPass for password management, and I am disappointed by this experience. I need assistance to regain access to my account, vault, master password, and disable features if necessary. Any prompt help to resolve these issues would be greatly appreciated. Upon restarting my laptop, I encountered an issue accessing my bank as my username and password did not populate automatically. I attempted to use LastPass, but was prompted to enter my master password, which I unfortunately had written down on my iPhone. However, this information disappeared post upgrading my iOS to version 13. Despite receiving the hint, my attempts to enter the password according to the hint were fruitless. I then tried the recovery method without success as I lack a recovery password. As a premium customer, I rely on LastPass for all my passwords and I am currently at a standstill. I am seeking assistance as I am unsure of the next steps to resolve this issue.

I have been a LastPass Premium customer since [redacted]. My yearly renewal failed due to an expired credit card. On the same day I corrected the issue, I was charged $38.20 on 29Dec19, which included an unexplained tax of $2.20. However, I was charged again yesterday, 4Jan20, for $36, which has already posted to my AMEX account. This is a second posted charge, not pending. Fortunately, there was no tax charged this time. I kindly request a refund for the 29Dec19 charge of $38.20. Thank you.

I tried to simplify my master password earlier today but encountered issues confirming it. Despite following the instructions, I couldn't get it to work and ended up locked out due to too many attempts. I urgently need access to LastPass. I would like to cancel my subscription. One day, all my passwords disappeared, leaving only the account names. Despite my efforts, I couldn't recover the passwords. This incident made me question the security of the platform. My interaction with Lastpass Support at RSA confirmed this was an unusual issue. I have since switched to Dashlane and feel more secure. I would appreciate a refund of $51.16 as I have barely used Lastpass in [redacted] and do not plan on using it again.

Please ensure no auto-billing occurs. Kindly allow for downgrading services through various contact methods such as online, by phone, email, or postal mail for this year. It would be greatly appreciated if companies could make it easy to choose services, handle payments, and communicate future updates without unnecessary complexities. I am trying to prevent LastPass from auto-billing and encountering similar issues with various End User License Agreement (EULA) companies. I just want to pay my bill for the services I bought without any problems. Thank you for understanding.

LastPass has been working smoothly with my bank account on my computer and iPhone until a week ago. Unfortunately, it has stopped autofilling on my phone, prompting me to input my user ID and password manually. When I launch the bank from LastPass on my phone, it redirects me to a page that appears to be for changing my password but hangs without allowing further action after filling in the details. I updated my password on my computer tonight, and the new password is visible on the LastPass app on both devices. I'm hopeful that this issue can be resolved soon, so I can conveniently access my bank app again with LastPass autofilling on my phone. Thank you.

My annual LastPass subscription is set to expire on April 20, [redacted]. Recently, they raised the price from $12 to $36 per year without providing any additional services or improvements. I attempted to cancel my upcoming subscription directly with LastPass, but they have modified their procedures. I now need to contact PayPal to request the cancellation. Unfortunately, due to the current COVID-19 situation, I am unable to reach PayPal as they are not taking calls or messages. Despite leaving a message with a robot, I have not received a response. I am concerned about LastPass automatically renewing my subscription. Any advice on how to proceed would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I'm Jeanene Lang, and I work as Peter Wold's Administrative Assistant. We have a LastPass account either under Peter Wold or Tonya Nichols. Tonya used to handle the LastPass payment with her company credit card, but she's no longer with us, and her card has been deactivated. The payment to LastPass didn't go through, and I'm concerned about any impact on Peter Wold's LastPass account. I appreciate any assistance you can provide on this matter.

Last week, my phone suddenly stopped working, leaving me unable to access my account as it was set up with Google Authenticator for 2FA. After attempting to disable 2FA by entering my master password and following the provided link, I received an email confirming the disabling of 2FA. However, upon trying to log in again, I was still prompted to enter 2FA credentials. Even after successfully entering my master password during login, I am repeatedly asked for my Google Authenticator token number. Despite having my password written down and previously accepted, I am now being told it is incorrect when attempting to disable 2FA. This dilemma has left me stuck in a loop where I can authenticate to reach the 2FA prompt but unable to turn it off to access my account.

Two days ago I updated my master password to a ten-digit one, and now I'm locked out of my account. The password hint is not helpful, as I'm certain I'm entering the correct password without success. Despite trying the account recovery process multiple times, I keep encountering issues. I do receive a verification code via SMS, but I'm unable to reset. I keep getting messages saying I have no one-time passwords or that the extension is not enabled on my browser (Chrome), even though it is installed. I attempted the process on Microsoft Edge and faced the same issue. I reached out to Lastpass customer service and waited on hold for three hours with no response. I also tried the JustAnswer service, but they were unable to resolve the problem.

I tried the "free" version of LastPass password manager but was unexpectedly charged around $30. I decided to keep it, hoping it would work out. However, I've been struggling to get it to function properly ever since. I am unable to find a telephone support line for assistance. I recently discovered that I was hacked online while staying as a guest in someone's home during my Ministering Mission. I have been fortunate to use the secure servers of three close friends while I work on fixing my digital security. One of my friends recommended your service, and I am navigating through the process. I am concerned about a possible keystroke hacking issue as I couldn't access LastPass using my new password from your company. I have already cleaned my laptop after the hack and hope to avoid another incident. Once I regain access, I am interested in setting up additional verification methods like using my phone for added security. Being new to this and not very tech-savvy at 61 years old, I am trying to grasp the complexities of online security in today's world. I've been a customer for five years, faithfully paying $12 annually for the premium account. However, I recently discovered that the renewal cost has skyrocketed to $36, a whopping [redacted]% increase from last year. As an unemployed individual, I am financially strained and looking to make every dollar count. I am considering switching to a free password manager unless there are significant new features or improvements to justify the steep price hike. I would be content with renewing at the previous rate of $12 per year, or even paying for a two-year subscription at that price. About a year ago, I downloaded LastPass to check it out, but I don't recall creating an account back then. Recently, when I opened the app, it recognized my email but indicated that the extension was not found. I have been using LastPass for at least a year now. Initially, I had to pay twice to install it on my laptop. While I have been using it on my Android cell phone and Windows laptop without any issues, recently I am only able to access it on my cell phone as it was set up with fingerprint access. However, my laptop does not recognize my correct email or password, acting as if my account does not exist. My Gmail is my username for LastPass, but you can reach me best through my Yahoo email or by text/call at [redacted]. The problem I am facing is that LastPass suddenly does not recognize me by email or any other information on my laptop.

I am having trouble logging in to LastPass as I keep receiving a "Multifactor authentication failed!" message. I think this issue is due to my previous employer using Duo for MFA, which I can no longer access. I would like to switch my MFA method to SMS with my phone number, [redacted]. Thank you!
