My son was sent for lab work on ******** around *:**pm at the Labcorp location located on *** Copperfield Blvd. in Concord, NC. After * failed attempts at retrieving blood from my * year old son the lady drawing blood was about to attempt a *rd draw. I stated that if that attempt did not work we were going to stop because it was getting to be too stressful. She proceeded to get an attitude with me stating “you don’t think it’s stressful for me too?” I explained to her that I was sure it was but that there was no need to get an attitude with me. I told her let’s just please get this done and over with so we could leave. She rolled her eyes at me and grabbed my sons arm more aggressively than I was comfortable with so I stopped her and stated that I wasn’t comfortable with her drawing his blood being as angry as she was. She then got very loud and aggressive with me in front of my children. I told her I was sure she had a long day and that we would handle this a different day at a different place but that she should watch the way she treats her patients. My husband took our son and daughter to our vehicle and I was behind them walking down the hallway. The lady then tried to stand in front of me and buck up at me and told me I needed to leave. I told her that’s what I was trying to do and she finally got out of my way after yelling at my husband and I in front of our children. I have never been treated like that by a medical professional ever in my life and it was majorly concerning. This woman was clearly angry and did not know how to handle herself. I do not believe that these are the type of people you want representing your company. I would like to request that this issue be addressed and handled so that other patients and families do not have to deal with this type of disrespect in the future. Thank you.
