I called KFC in Danville, VA at *:**pm ******** to place a order. The female worker on the line asked me to hold. I held for *min ** sec before she simply hung up on me. While on hold I was en route to KFC. KFC on Memorial Drive. I went through the line and ordered. After I got my order I told the manager what happened. She acted like she did not want to address it at first, then asked if someone had picked up the phone for me. Everyone said no. So I showed her the phone where I made the call and the length of the call. She asked the crew who had picked up for me. Again everyone acted clueless. She said she didn't know who it was with a half hearted apology. That's when I told her that I would be calling corporate. She offered a drink and biscuit for the situation. It's not about the food. I wouldn't eat out if I couldn't afford what I wanted to eat. The customer service was horrible. The crew person, a female, placed me on hold for nearly ten minutes, never checked back, never got my order, hung up on me, and obviously lied by denying the act when the crew was asked. The manager acted like she didn't care either way. The remaining crew were laughing and playing in the background. Very ghetto. I understand it's fast food but the experience should not feel like visiting the gutter. I'm truly appalled by this experience.
