The issue in GetHuman-ekadilla's own words
On ******* I returned * items to the J Jill store * **** in Annapolis, MD. I had the items wrapped in the original packaging I had bought them from since the purchase was made around ******** in that same store. I had decided I did not want the items and had planned to return them. My mother had emergent surgery so I left town for several weeks. I was unable to find my receipt. The manager of the store told me she could not take back my items without a receipt and I had not bought them at her store. I went on to explain that I remembered the display at the front as I walked in and was sure I had bought them there. She told me I had not because I was not in her system. And J jill no longer gave credit for items without receipt. She was incredibly hostile and rude in her tone. I went on to look at my credit card online and show her the purchase from her store on my credit card statement. She still insisted she could not give me credit. She finally said she would give me the todays sale price on a merchandise only card. I took that feeling as I had no option. After thinking of how unfairly and rude she was I am writing to say that I am disappointed in the customer service. I have a huge account with J Jill and do not appreciate being treated as though I had committed theft. I would like J jill to refund me the full purchase as I paid for that is clearly on my credit card statement. I have a **** revolving credit with j jill and have purchased through out many years. After this poor example of customer service and ugly treatment I'm choosing to no longer shop with J jill. Elizabeth Dillard
