ORIGINAL TICKET :Flight number for Ticket date outbound ** September **** return **October ****. ticket numbwr *************.**New Ticket booking is : **************Return ** October ****.**Dear Sir*Madam*I travelled to Florida for a * week vacation leaving Jamaica on ** September ****.*When i got back to the airport on the **October **** to board my flight back to Jamaica i was told by the assistant that I could not board my flight back to Jamaica as i did not a Covid test. I tried to explain to the assistant that I had my Travel Authorisation document and as far I am aware that was all I need as i am a jamaican citizen. The assistant insisted that i couldn't board the flight until i have a Covid test. He gave me a paper with instructions on how to do this test.He said my flight would be reschedule as soon i have my Covid test.*I left the airport and went to see out a Covid test. I eventually did a Covid test at a cost of *** dollars. I call up jetblue and was told I had to book a new flight. I book a flight and turn up at the airport on the ** October **** only to be told by the checking in personnel when i proceeded to hand her the Covid test results that was Negative that i didnt require a Covid test. I explain to her what had happen and she apologised and said she dont know why i told this. *I am so upset that had to miss my flight paid for an unwanted Covid test and had to purchace a new ticket.*I Would be very greatful if you look into this and to ensure your staff are sufficiently train to pass on correct information to customers as this incident has cost me dearly *** dollars for a Covid test and *** dollars for a new ticket for which i am seeking compensation.*I am so distraught that after spending * weeks vacation to have to face such humiliation at the airport for not having a covid test and only to know as i had pointed out that i did not need it.*Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.*Your Sincerely*Mrs Nicola Graham.
