Seeking compensation for hotel when JetBlue cancelled flight forcing me to stay overnight at airport. JetBlue offers a standard compensation in "TrueBlue" dollars. The gate agent was giving out hotel vouchers but ran out. These were IN ADDITION to the JetBlue standard compensation plan. I have emailed JetBlue and they want me to simply accept their standard offer and not push the issue on the hotel compensation.

GetHuman3065286 did not yet indicate what JetBlue TrueBlue should do to make this right.

When I used the standard email dearJetB*****@***.com I got a standard response that the compensation they provided was meant to include hotel stays. I pushed back (but my flight situation was really bad) and stated that the gate agent had offered hotel vouchers to others in addition to the standard denied boarding compensation. My email was promptly responded to and JetBlue offered to reimburse me for my hotel to a set limit if I send them the receipt. I thought this was quite appropriate even though I had to "eat" $** of the hotel bill. Actually, I think JetBlue handled this well. Just need to push back.
