I currently have a one way ticket FROM Iceland to SFO (OG*N**). I’d like to have a round trip, and on different dates: August ** departure SFO-KEF direct flight, and August ** direct return KEF-SFO, for the same passengers (* adults and * infants).**The reason for requesting this change is that my mother in law, who booked the tickets and for whose **th birthday we’re going to Iceland, was diagnosed with cancer and her surgery and radiotherapy will conflict with the first dates.**We are looking for the most economical way to make this change. Options: (*) Cancelation (with a fee) and some credit that we can apply towards purchasing the round trip. (*) Or a “change fee”. Unfortunately, I am not able to make this change or cancellation online. Additionally, if you have any leeway on the fees given the unfortunate circumstances, we would much appreciate this.**I have called the Iceland Air support line multiple times (including * times last week, and again just now,) and it just says "Due to high call volume, we're unable to take your call" on repeat. One time, I got through and the wait time was over ** minutes, but the call failed at the end. This has been a bad experience so far.**On ****** I emailed customer support (*Case Number: ********) with this whole story and have not heard back.
