I have a Hoover Wind Tunnel vacuum that I have had for a number of year. Recently I had to take my vacuum for service because the brush bar wasn't working even with a new belt. The service tech said the Hoover are not built to last???? When people send them in for repair the repairs cost more than a new machine. Is this true? Previously, when you bought a Hoover it would last forever. People would buy new ones just to get one with better upgrades. Well anyway, I thought you would like to know what is being said about your product. I am is the market for a new vacuum but I'm wondering if I should look at another Hoover.
