Hi there,**I’m wondering if you can please assist us. We had landed in Italy and had booked an automatic car online and received a confirmation from Dollar car hire, IT*********. We had come before the pick up time to pick up the car however, even though the credit card used to book the car has more than enough to cover the excess, we were asked for two credit cards. The email we received stated “credit card” and not two credit cards, but only after the hertz made us aware that * credit card were needed did we call hertz. **The email was misleading by stating “credit card” but was continuously told by the customer service agent that it was our fault, after this we asked if this booking could be changed to a cheaper car that required * credit card or change the driver details who had two credit cards. After talking to one of the customer service advisors who was not very helpful, it finally passed the pick up time for the car. This was then used as the reason why the booking could not be changed.**We kindly ask that you assist us in the above matter as we had to try and sort this matter for over * hour and book and pay for another vehicle. Essentially we feel very frustrated and disappointed by the service we received especially since we called before the pick up time to get this fixed.
