My mother's laptop went missing a few years ago, and she recently found it at her house after suspecting someone removed it. She discovered it under a bed, now in a different box than before. I want to match the laptop to the correct box. I have all the necessary numbers. Additionally, the transformer seems unusually hot, and I am concerned about a recall. Your help with identifying the laptop's original box and addressing the transformer issue would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your assistance.

I own an HP All-In-One C7250 Printer, which has worked flawlessly without paper jams until recently when one occurred. After carefully removing the jammed paper from the rear, which was only slightly wrinkled, I successfully printed one page. However, an error message persistently appears stating "clear paper jam," despite no actual jam detected by a repair technician who inspected and blew forced air through the printer. The issue remains unresolved, and my printer is unable to print. I seek advice on fixing the erroneous paper jam message to restore the functionality of my reliable printer. Thank you for your assistance. - Ray

I recently purchased an HP notebook from Staples, model 17-BY0061-ST, with product ID 4AG14UA#ABA. After less than two years, the right hinge broke, causing the top part of the computer to separate and the keyboard top to crack. These issues were due to a clear defect in the product, as the notebook was never abused or taken out of my home. Two repair shops have indicated that fixing it would cost at least $[redacted].00 plus parts, almost the same as the original price. Although I was initially pleased with the computer and its features, I am now doubting my recommendation to my wife, who purchased a new HP computer. I have concerns that her computer may face similar problems in the near future. Given the current situation, I am considering not purchasing another HP in the future. With the notebook out of warranty, I am unsure if my issue will be addressed. I hope for a positive resolution. Thank you, Robert C. Roth

I purchased the HP Envy [redacted], but it is not printing from my computer. Oddly enough, it can print web page items from two other computers successfully. Despite uninstalling and reinstalling the printer four times, it no longer prints from any device and does not show up on my home network. I attempted to seek assistance by using the print/scan doctor tool, which proved ineffective. Unfortunately, when I tried calling for support, the automated system required a case number which I did not receive during my previous attempts. Working from home is challenging without a functional printer, and I've been troubleshooting this issue for two weeks now. Any advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

My printer successfully connects to my wifi network, but it's unable to download updates or receive print jobs from wifi direct devices or through email. Despite attempting online tech support and virtual agents without success, I've been unable to reach a live person for assistance after 8 months of trying. I'm surprised to find out my printer, purchased from Amazon on Dec. 2nd, [redacted], is considered out of warranty by the virtual agent since Nov. [redacted]. Urgently needing a solution, I request either a replacement printer or a resolution to fix the software so I can use the printer as intended. If the issue persists, I'll have to consider purchasing a new printer, but it won't be an HP printer given the current circumstances.

I placed an order with HP.com (order number H[redacted]71) but quickly realized I made a mistake and tried to cancel it right away. I have been struggling to reach customer support, being on hold for up to 3 hours when I call. Despite sending two emails requesting cancellation, I have not received any response. Sales representatives have given me multiple phone numbers to try, but none of them have been helpful in resolving my issue. I feel frustrated by the lack of customer support from HP.com and hope they can honor my request to cancel the order promptly. Thank you.

When trying to print from my MacBook Pro on my HP Deskjet [redacted] printer, I kept receiving malware warnings. This issue seems to be common currently due to an error between HP and Apple. Despite uninstalling and reinstalling the software, restarting my computer, and seeking help from Applecare, I still cannot print. I urgently need assistance to resolve this HP-related issue so I can use my printer as soon as possible.

Hello. I recently set up my new BT internet, but I am having trouble getting my HP DeskJet [redacted] series printer to work. The printer status shows as offline, and the installation status is listed as not installed and inactive. I have followed all the recommendations from the virtual chat support and downloaded both HP Print and Scan Doctor as well as HP Smart. The printer is connected to the same network as my PC, but it is physically connected to the BT smart router using a USB cable. My PC is not in close proximity to the printer. When attempting to connect wirelessly, HP Smart indicates that the 5 GHz home WiFi channel 36 interferes with RADAR systems, causing the HP printer WiFi to be temporarily disconnected. I rely on written communication as I am deaf, so phone calls are not an option for me. My goal is to be able to print using our mobile phones, laptops via WiFi, and my PC via a wired home network connection. I appreciate any assistance you can provide. Thank you for your help. Keith S.

Dear Sir/Madam, I bought an HP monitor via Amazon on December 6, [redacted]. The model is: HP 22 inch (54.61 cm) Ultra-Slim Anti-Glare Full HD LED Monitor - 3-side Micro Bezel, IPS Panel with USB, HDMI Ports I plan to extend my laptop display with this monitor. Do I need a UPS in case of power loss? Will it harm the monitor if I use it without a UPS? Thanks and Regards, Kamalpriya M.

I own an HP LaserJet 1536dnf MFP printer that connects well via USB to my two older MacBook Pros ([redacted] with El Capitan, [redacted] with High Sierra). I recently upgraded to a [redacted] MacBook Pro with Catalina but have been unsuccessful in installing the printer driver due to warnings that certain components may harm the computer. I am unsure if the printer supports WiFi connection. The NASA Goddard System Administrator mentioned compatibility issues between Catalina and the printer, but HP's online resources imply it can work. My main query is whether it is possible to make it work with Catalina and how - via USB or WiFi. Any guidance on this matter would be greatly appreciated. Although I am considering purchasing a new printer, I still want to use this one with the [redacted] MacBook Pro. Upgrading to Catalina will soon be mandatory, so finding a solution is essential.

I need to replace the broken LCD screen on my HP Pavilion. The HP parts store doesn't have it yet, so I'm exploring third-party options. One company suggested using the B156HAN04.0 as a replacement for my original B156HAN02.7. I'm uncertain if this would work. If anyone knows of other reputable LCD companies, please share your recommendations.

I bought an HP #65 color cartridge from the HP online store, but it is defective and won't print in color. When I called HP for assistance, the first representative located my account but instructed me to contact tech support for a case number. After three frustrating calls (disconnected twice), the third representative insisted on having the order number to proceed. This experience dealing with HP has been very unpleasant, and it's disappointing that I can't get help without that order number. I feel frustrated by this lack of customer service. I hope HP learns from this situation and improves their support process.

My HP OfficeJet [redacted] printer is not printing documents sent to it. It is connected via WiFi and was working fine a week ago. The only changes made were a Windows 10 update and possibly an HP update, though I cannot confirm if the HP update was recent. The scanning feature has never worked properly since I used Windows 7, and HP was unable to resolve this issue from the beginning. I currently use Windows 10.

I have been using an HP 6560b laptop with Windows 7 Professional for years without any issues, primarily relying on the default wired NIC. Recently, I activated the wireless adapter to troubleshoot internal wireless connectivity from our modem. After testing the wireless signal, I attempted to re-enable the default NIC. However, I encountered a problem as the NIC I have been using for years disappeared from both the Device Manager and when I checked for connectivity hardware using the command IP Config /All | more. I am looking for guidance on how to make all of the laptop's network cards/network devices visible.

I have been facing issues with my laptop from the beginning as it does not recognize our home 5G Wi-Fi network. The voice quality during Zoom calls and FaceTime is poor, and it gets hot and makes loud noises when running certain software. Recently, it has completely stopped connecting to the Wi-Fi network. I tried troubleshooting myself, uninstalled and reinstalled the network software, followed the procedures on the HP website, and even reset Windows 10 to default settings. The only thing I haven't done is the procedure required for the laptop to connect to the internet. Sadly, I did not receive much help from HP customer support; they were rude and unhelpful. Since the laptop is still under warranty and I don't have the necessary drivers to reinstall, I am considering requesting a replacement device.

My old HP DeskJet printer was functioning well until the drive belt broke recently. I'm looking to find replacement parts, specifically the Carriage drive belt (part number: C4[redacted]9) for the HP DeskJet 843C Printer (C6414C). This printer does exactly what I need it to do - print and nothing more. I appreciate any assistance in locating this part. Thank you.

I am experiencing frequent drops in my Wi-Fi connection. The disconnections last anywhere from a few seconds to a few minutes before automatically reconnecting. Occasionally, when I notice the disconnection before it reconnects, I manually click to reconnect. Despite this issue, all other devices in my household maintain a stable connection, leading me to believe it is isolated to my HP device. Overall, I am content with my HP computer, apart from this recurring problem. I would appreciate any advice or recommendations on how to address this matter and enhance my Wi-Fi stability.

Purchased a laptop in July [redacted] with serial number 8CG9194H9X. Within six months, it stopped turning on. Best Buy sent it back to HP, but the issue recurred four times. Geek Squad charged $[redacted] each time for repairs since I didn't purchase their warranty. Now HP quoted $[redacted] to replace the battery, motherboard, and top cover. The total cost surpasses the laptop's value. I request HP or Best Buy to replace the computer at no extra cost. Looking forward to a satisfactory resolution and improved customer service experience. Thank you, Steve Mordini.

Hello. I bought an HP Pavilion Model 15-CS0085CL on Nov. 22, [redacted], which is two years ago. About a month ago, the black frame around the screen started to detach from the screen on the left side. I tried to tape it, but recently the right side also came off, and both hinges broke. Now, the screen won't stay up on its own. I have to prop it up. I've never had a computer fall apart like this after just two years! It's hard to believe this is happening. I purchased the computer from Costco for $[redacted].00 after a $[redacted] discount, its original price being $[redacted].00. I would appreciate it if you could either replace or repair the computer free of charge, or offer a credit towards a new one. I am disappointed by this experience, especially with HP having a good reputation. I hope we can find a solution. Sandy L.

I ordered an HP laptop on November 27th. In my order history, it shows the item was shipped on December 7th, but there haven't been any tracking updates since December 9th. I contacted FedEx, the shipping company, and they mentioned my package is in a clearance delay awaiting instructions from HP to be released. I've been unsuccessful in reaching anyone from HP directly, and I am feeling frustrated as I really need this package to arrive before Christmas.
