I used H&R Block for my taxes but didn't receive an advance. I opted to have the filing fee taken from my refund. Unfortunately, I didn't realize how this would impact my stimulus payment. Many of us are facing uncertainty regarding the stimulus funds because of this. I, like others, am unable to access the IRS "Get My Payment" tool due to ongoing error messages stating they can't determine my eligibility, despite already receiving my tax refund. It's frustrating. The process should be smoother; the IRS could send the funds to tax filing services we used, who could then distribute the money to us. Alternatively, the filing agents should be able to communicate this information to the IRS directly. Waiting until May-September for crucial aid is unacceptable during these challenging times.

I have been a loyal customer of HRBlock for 20 years. Today, I have tried every option to contact someone but have been unsuccessful. The phone numbers led me through automated menus promising a live representative, only to be disconnected repeatedly. I am extremely frustrated and disappointed. I understand the busy season and increased workload due to stimulus payments, but as customers, having our calls rejected is not acceptable. I have followed all the online information regarding the stimulus, only to feel like I am going in circles. HRBlock's information claims payments are processed upon receipt, but based on the government site, the deposit was supposed to be made on April 15, [redacted], to account ending in [redacted] (as per last year's filing). Despite HRBlock's automated message indicating payment delivery confirmation, I have yet to receive it as of April 17. I have been out of work for weeks and cannot find any useful information, which adds to my frustration.

I had an appointment scheduled with an H & R Block tax professional on March 23rd at the [redacted] Bay St. office in San Francisco. However, due to the closure of the office because of the shelter in place order, I haven't been able to reach anyone. Despite being informed that the branch would be open on April 16th and that I would receive a call, no one contacted me and the office remains closed. I've left voicemails but haven't had any response. I'm unsure about the status of my tax documents and whom to contact about this. I would appreciate any guidance on how to proceed with filing my taxes and getting in touch with the necessary professionals.

I am seeking assistance to address my tax preparation concern. Although I received emails confirming the acceptance of my state and federal tax returns, I am unable to verify if the process is complete. When trying to access my account on H&R Block's website, I encountered difficulties with verification. Despite several unsuccessful attempts to contact support via phone, I have initiated a dispute with my credit company. I believe it's vital to ensure my taxes are accurately filed to avoid any issues with the IRS. Despite some positive interactions during the process, my current experience has left me feeling uncertain. I can be reached at my email, [redacted], or through my cell phone at [redacted]. I anticipate a response by April 22, [redacted].

I was directed to a site requesting my credit card information to resolve an account issue after paying $[redacted] with no results. I seek clarity on my completed tax preparation, as emails mention acceptance of state and federal returns but accessing my H&R Block account reveals it is either locked or non-existent. Despite three unsuccessful phone attempts and over three hours on hold, I could not confirm the submission of my taxes. A dispute claim has been made with my credit company until I receive valid proof of submission. The process seemed promising with the support received, but the current situation leaves me feeling deceived. I can be reached at [redacted]/[redacted] or [redacted] Looking for a response by April 22, [redacted].

I am currently in the process of submitting my written statement to receive a new card due to fraudulent charges. However, I have noticed additional unauthorized charges and issues with my email and linked accounts being reset. When trying to recover my H&R Block app login information, I discovered multiple accounts, one with a different card number ending in [redacted] & [redacted] replacing the initial card ending in [redacted]. The original card stopped working, with a small balance on it. I suspect foul play due to leaving my purse unattended at a laundromat briefly. I am concerned these events might be related to why my money is disappearing or attempted charges are occurring. This has been especially frustrating as it may impact my stimulus check. Your assistance in clarifying these matters would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I have not received my [redacted] tax return. H&R Block stated that it was sent to the wrong address. I typically use the library to do my taxes, but this year my friend helped me file online. Unfortunately, there was an error with the address she entered. I have been trying to resolve this for months. Everything on the return was correct except for the address, which ended up being sent to the address down the street. I apologize for this situation. An H&R Block agent advised me to contact the Internal Revenue Service in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I have written to them twice now but have not received any response. This issue may affect the delivery of my stimulus check as I never received it. My name is AS, and I reside at [redacted] Cameron Ave, WS, NC [redacted]. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I used an online tax preparer for my taxes. Unfortunately, they entered the wrong date for my state tax payment, withdrawing the funds on 4/15 instead of 7/1 like my federal taxes. I didn't notice this error initially because the preparer also made mistakes on my investments, causing potential additional taxes of $[redacted] federally and $[redacted] at state level. This mistake on my investments could have been dire, as I needed the $[redacted]+ state tax money sooner. Additionally, they failed to input my correct employment details and missed claiming my educator expenses tax credit. This marks the second year in a row where my tax preparer has made errors. Last year, a different tax preparer messed up my investments when I had them completed in person, and I had to correct the entries myself. I am feeling frustrated and unsure how to resolve this issue. At this point, I am considering not using HR Block services again to avoid such recurring mistakes.

I received a text notifying me of a compromised charge of $89.19 on my old card. After speaking with a customer service representative in the fraud department, my card was canceled, and now I'm trying to obtain a replacement card. However, I'm unable to connect through the customer service number on the back of the card, [redacted]. I urgently need a replacement card. For assistance, please contact me at [redacted]. I visited the H&R Block office in Ramsey, NJ, where I had my taxes done, but unfortunately, I did not receive much help. Although I've been a satisfied H&R Block customer for over 35 years, I'm facing challenges due to the current pandemic situation. I kindly request prompt resolution to this matter.

I am seeking urgent assistance and hope someone can help, as I am unable to resolve my issue online or by phone due to the current pandemic circumstances. Last year I filed my [redacted] taxes, but the return was not processed, and I received IRS letter 5071C requesting identity verification. When I attempted to create an account as instructed in the letter, the system repeatedly locked me out, claiming my information did not match, even when trying various addresses. I received no CP01A letter at that time. Now, as I tried to file my [redacted] taxes, the IRS rejected it for not including my IP PIN. I encountered further issues verifying my identity online due to the requirement for an "ACTIVE" loan account number, which I do not have due to being in a chapter 13 bankruptcy. I am uncertain if this situation affects my eligibility for the stimulus check, considering that I met the criteria in [redacted] and [redacted]. Being a commissioned salesperson, the $[redacted] is crucial for me amid financial difficulties. I am desperate for assistance as I have been struggling with this issue all week. Is there any alternative to verify my identity, perhaps through a text message or speaking to a representative? Your help is greatly appreciated. Thank you, Derek

Dear Customer Service, I received a notification from your company regarding potential fraud on my card ending in [redacted]. The case number provided to me is [redacted]. Despite informing the fraud department that I did not make any unauthorized transactions, my card was suspended. I have been attempting to contact the number on the back of the card, 1-[redacted], without success. I am eager to receive a replacement card and would appreciate an update on the process. I visited the Ramsey office where I had my taxes prepared and left my details with a representative, but have not received a response yet. I am frustrated because I had two tax appointments scheduled on Sundays, but the first one was canceled without notifying me, presumably because of Easter. I called H&R Block, and they rescheduled me for the following Sunday. The person I spoke to was unhelpful and unfriendly. I drove for over an hour to my appointment only to find the office closed. Despite these issues, I still want to use H&R Block because I like my tax lady. However, I am disappointed with the receptionist/scheduler's incompetence. I am seeking a solution to this inconvenience and need to schedule another appointment. I tried contacting the 1-[redacted] number but kept getting disconnected.

After patiently waiting on hold for over an hour, I finally spoke to a representative to switch my Tax Pro. I preferred to use a different Tax Pro this year. However, after a brief 5-minute conversation, the representative was unable to assist me and transferred me to another department. I clarified with her that she was transferring me directly to another representative before being disconnected and receiving an automated message stating they could not take my call at that time. I am capable with technology but found your website to have significant flaws, making it difficult to complete this task on my own. If there is a way to do it independently, it is not clear at all.

I am experiencing extreme frustration with my Emerald Card. Customer service via phone has offered minimal assistance. My current problem involves being unable to withdraw cash from my card, neither at a bank nor an ATM. Despite contacting them three times, each representative assured me the issue was fixed, but it remains unresolved. When requesting to speak with a supervisor for further assistance, I was denied and advised to wait 24 hours. This delay is not feasible for me, as I urgently need access to my funds. I attempted for 4 hours to rectify the situation with no success. I have lost faith in the Emerald Card and H&R Block after years of loyalty due to this distressing experience.

I requested a refund for my tax preparation from H&R Block over a week ago after my return was rejected due to missing my IP pin. The customer service I received from them was terrible. I contacted a customer service representative named Ray, who was shocked by the situation. He submitted a refund request, but I have not received any update in over a week. Each time I try to contact them, I am met with a message stating that there are too many callers ahead of me. This situation is frustrating, and I strongly believe I deserve a refund for the service. I emphasized to the tax preparer that this money was crucial for me until I received my tax refund, and it's concerning that their employee proceeded with the filing despite the issues with the IP pin.

I'm trying to determine when I will receive my stimulus payment and where it will be deposited. I no longer have my Emerald card, and last week when I tried to get a new one from the tax consultant at H&R Block in Red Oak, IA, she couldn't issue me a new card. When I enter my information online, it says it's incorrect, but it matches my [redacted] tax return through H&R Block.

I am frustrated with the conflicting information regarding my payment from the IRS. Initially, it was meant to be deposited in my account on April 15, then the date changed to April 24 without any sign of the money. When I contacted the bank to inquire, they explained they couldn't assist as they were just the account holders. It's disheartening knowing that many people are experiencing delays in receiving their much-needed stimulus payments due to issues between HR Block and the IRS. I feel let down and now am told it may come by mail even though the website shows it as deposited today. This experience has made me reconsider using HR Block in the future. TurboTax seemed to handle things better for their clients. HR Block should improve their services to avoid causing unnecessary delays and stress for customers.

Hello, my name is Lisa Kunze. My family has been clients of yours for over 20 years. We have been using an Emerald card with the same account number and routing number for the past three years, receiving our last three refunds deposited onto the same card. However, on the 24th, we encountered issues with receiving our [redacted] income tax return and stimulus payment. H&R Block mistakenly sent them to the wrong account number. Despite my efforts, I have been unable to reach anyone through your customer service or the IRS to resolve this issue. The payment information states it was sent to an account ending in [redacted], which does not match our account number that I previously verified with your company.

I submitted my taxes at H&R Block located in Tri City Plaza on East Bay Drive yesterday, Saturday, the 25th. I was informed that if my income was below $12,[redacted] per year, the filing would be free. However, after the assessment, I was told I would receive a small refund of over $[redacted]. Even though I qualified for a free filing, because of the refund, I was charged almost $[redacted], which I believe is incorrect. I was under the impression that regardless of the refund amount, filing would be free for incomes under $12,[redacted] as confirmed by your customer service. Additionally, I was promised a returning customer discount due to having to file a [redacted]-A form for insurance, which costs $35. I was supposed to receive a coupon that would reduce the cost to $10 for that specific filing. I feel misled and need this issue rectified as I do not think I should be charged for the filing since my income is under $12,[redacted], and I am still getting a refund as well as the coupon. When I mentioned the coupon, I was informed that I might not be eligible for it due to receiving a refund, which would essentially reduce my refund amount by almost half, which is not acceptable. Please reach out to me urgently. Thank you.

I used HRBlock software to file my [redacted] taxes and attempted to e-file my federal return, but encountered an issue regarding my internet connection or firewall. I hesitated to adjust my firewall settings and suspected my internet might also be causing the problem due to recent connectivity issues. Despite two unsuccessful e-filing attempts, I discovered that my checking account was charged twice for $19.95 each for the Arizona state e-file. The software assured no charge for the state e-file if the federal return was not successfully e-filed. Can someone assist with resolving this situation?
