As senior citizens, we sometimes forget things, and I recently discovered that I have three expired coupons. Two of them expired in [redacted] with Holistic Healing, and one in [redacted] with Healthsource Chiropractic and Progressive Rehab. I unintentionally bought two more without realizing I couldn't use the previous ones. I hesitated to use the coupons before because I had to book online, which was challenging and unfamiliar to me at that time, leading me to forget about them. I attempted to use them again recently, only to realize I need to book online once more. I prefer speaking with someone directly, as I am more comfortable with that process. It's frustrating that there is no phone number on the voucher, making it difficult for me to get assistance. As seniors on a fixed income, every dollar matters, and I wish to use the newer coupons. Would appreciate any guidance on what I can do in this situation given my limitations with technology.

Hello, my name is Karen Y. I bought a Groupon on 4/30/21 for an exotic driving experience for my boyfriend's birthday. Due to COVID-19, we couldn't schedule an appointment. When I tried to book the experience, the Groupon showed it was used on 3/3/22, but I did not use it. I'm concerned about how this happened and if identification is required to use the Groupon. The deal was with West Coast Exotics Group for a 5-Lap Driving Experience in a sports car. I recently purchased brush heads for my sonic toothbrush, and unfortunately, they appear to be defective. After comparing them in a video to my existing brush head, it's clear that the new one doesn't move at all while in use, just hums. This does not seem right as my original brush head clearly oscillates. Even my hygienist is in agreement that something is amiss with the new brush heads. I have tried discussing this with the company, but they insist it's normal. I am looking to receive a refund for these ineffective brush heads.

I have a concern regarding a Groupon gift I received that expires today, 3/22/22. I have been unable to reach the service provider by phone or in person at their fitness location. The establishment appeared to be understaffed, with a note stating there was no one at the desk. The Groupon implies no appointment is needed but mentions a consultation as a requirement. This poses a problem when there is no staff present for clarification. I believe a refund to the credit card of the individual who gifted me this service is necessary. This afternoon, I had three appointments scheduled via Groupon. Initially, I had a lash appointment at 9 a.m., but the lash technician arrived at 9:30 a.m. instead. Despite her website indicating the appointment would take one hour, it lasted two hours and 15 minutes. Consequently, I missed my waxing sugaring appointment and was charged a cancellation fee by the sugaring company. Moreover, Groupon shows my coupon as redeemed, but due to the lash technician's delay, I did not receive the waxing. During the lash appointment, although I notified her that I needed to leave by 11 a.m., she continued working and ended up placing some lashes unevenly. I have evidence of my appointment confirmation, texts showing her lateness, and the wrongful redemption of my sugaring. I am frustrated by this experience and would appreciate a call to address these issues.

I bought a Groupon for a personal service on Sep 27, [redacted]. Despite multiple attempts to schedule, I faced phone unresponsiveness and an inaccessible voicemail. Looking to book online also failed. Health issues delayed my use, so in mid-March, before the 03/26/[redacted] expiration, I tried to redeem it only to find it marked redeemed on Jan 14 while I was hospitalized! After reaching out four times, all I got was a reply stating the merchant redeemed it nearing expiration and advised me to schedule. This is unacceptable! Is this even legal? Why does Groupon allow this? I am highly upset! I've requested a refund due to this unethical behavior but have yet to receive a response. Thank you.

I bought a package of six laser hair removal treatments from Desert Aesthetics in April [redacted]. Initially, I had no trouble scheduling appointments for May, but later they were canceled due to lack of certified staff. After many rescheduling attempts, I finally started treatment in September, but faced machine issues leading to more delays. Treatments in October and late September went smoothly with no problems. However, in December and early March, more cancellations occurred due to machine and staffing problems. Desert Aesthetics informed me that they couldn't offer a refund as the purchase was made through Groupon. I purchased a house cleaning service package from Cozy Maids for two people for three hours. However, the service provided was not as expected. Instead of two people for three hours, they sent one person for six hours, which was not what I paid for. I had an appointment scheduled for yesterday at 11:00AM, which got canceled, and today at 2:00PM, but no one showed up. Despite my attempts to contact them, I only received automated replies. This has caused a major issue for me, especially because I have guests coming tomorrow. Due to my age and health concerns, I'm now trying to manage cleaning on my own. I am incredibly upset about this situation and would appreciate if another company could assist me with cleaning tomorrow. I am considering discontinuing services with Cozy Maids due to this experience.

After contacting Canvasonsale regarding the blurry artwork, I followed their instructions to destroy the piece, take a photo, and dispose of it. Hello, I am reaching out after a frustrating and stressful experience today at Event Cinemas Castle Hill with my family. We arrived to redeem expiring vouchers for a 6:30 show, but with no one at the counter, we had to book online, where unfortunately none of the vouchers worked. I encountered error messages as I tried to book. My children grew upset as we were delayed for the movie. I ended up purchasing two more vouchers, but due to the time wasted on the previous failed attempts, we missed the next show and returned home empty-handed. I have two Groupons, [redacted] and [redacted], for K&F Custom Car Detail in Greensboro, NC, valued at $55. Despite it being past 3 days from the purchase, I am requesting a refund for both certificates. I have used their services before but encountered an issue this time. When my car was at their place on Saturday, 4-2-22, after 2 hours, they called me to claim the car was dirty and asked for an additional $50 to clean it. The only part they pointed out as dirty was the floor mats. I feel this might have been a bait-and-switch situation. They mentioned pet hair was the problem, but my grand dog, who rarely rides in the car, is non-shedding and has hair similar to the leather's color. Despite the exterior being cleaned a week earlier, they said I wasn't eligible for the Groupon service. It seemed to be a subjective decision by the manager, likely due to being overbooked. I am dissatisfied and want a refund to my card, not in Groupon Bucks. I will not use their services again and plan to leave a negative review. Thank you.

During our recent trip to Seattle, my wife and I used a Groupon to purchase tickets for the Space Needle and Chihuly Garden and Glass. Unfortunately, we were charged twice and received two sets of tickets. We only used one set and have been charged twice on my credit card. I noticed this as soon as we got back from our trip, and I am now trying to get a refund back to my card. The website states that a refund to the card is no longer an option and it has not been a week yet. We would greatly appreciate a refund to the card as we are on a strict budget to clear our debts, and having an extra $[redacted] in Groupon credit is not helpful. I purchased a massage from Cara Fightmaster on 4/3/22 to help with my rheumatoid arthritis. Initially, I intended to buy just one massage but accidentally ended up with a package of three. Despite requesting a refund for the package, only the one massage was canceled, leaving me with a Groupon voucher for three sessions. After several unsuccessful attempts to schedule appointments due to no responses to my calls or messages, I decided to seek a refund instead. Unfortunately, they offered a credit of around $80 to my account instead of a refund. I am disappointed with Groupon's customer service and feeling frustrated about not being able to get a refund. I purchased a Groupon for a dive certification class in my area for $[redacted]. I bought an oil change deal on Groupon in Knoxville, Tennessee, for a trip to Atlanta, Georgia. The shop owner said they couldn't fit me in until Monday after purchasing. Since I'll be away on business, he helped me with a refund through Groupon. I received an email today confirming Groupon processed the refund, but it could take up to 5 days for my bank to release the funds. I'm currently traveling, so funds are tight, and I didn't plan for double oil change expenses. I contacted my bank to expedite the process, but they require a merchant ID.
