I placed an order on *******. Some of the items in the order were delivered to my home on *******. FedEx left the box outside the gate in my driveway. I am not sure what time the box was dropped off, but there was a terrible rain storm that occurred sometime after noon. Since the box was not put into any type of protective bag, the box became soaked (which fell apart when picked up) before anyone returned home at the end of the work day.**I am very angry about this since two of the items (Emeril **pc Stainless Steel Cutlery Block Set and SoundBot SB*** Bluetooth Portable Speaker) in the order were going to be used as Christmas gifts but their boxes are falling apart because they got so wet. How do you wrap these two gifts when the boxes the are in happen to be falling apart and need to be thrown away? A bigger question and concern is "did any water get into the speaker or get the batteries wet or wood cutlery block wet?" If so, how will that affect the life expectancy or long term workings of the items.**I still have other items that are in the process of being shipped. Are they going to be left out in the open in the same manner? Am I going to come home to find the packaging destroyed and worry about the integrity of the items? It can't be that difficult for FedEx to put the items into a large plastic bag to protect it from the weather.**My questions to Groupon are:**) how is this problem going to be corrected? **) what is going to keep this from happening again?**At the very least, I would like to have new items sent so that I can be sure that they do not get wet during delivery. I can not return the items in the box they were delivered in since it was completely drenched and falling apart by the time I was able to pick it up and get it to a dry area. The Emeril knives were falling out of the bottom of their box because it had gotten wet* along with the smaller box inside that houses the knives. The speaker box was wet and water may have gotten into the speaker itself* I don't know how long it will last if it did get water inside of it. I think the batteries are okay since they are sealed units.**Please let me know the plan for dealing with this issue as soon as possible.**Holly Gildig
