I received a gift card for Christmas, but I am having trouble checking the balance. I've been attempting this for three days with no success. I had a similar issue in the past with another gift card and vowed not to give them as gifts. When I saw Greendot on the card, I immediately anticipated difficulties. I cannot use the app or website due to technical issues, and even the customer service phone line is experiencing problems. The requirement of personal information like my social security number to register a prepaid gift card seems unnecessary. I have a Greendot permanent Visa card without these issues. Using prepaid gift cards seems more complicated. How can I resolve this and use the gift card?

A few days ago, I had to cancel my Green Dot card and order a replacement. I had my disability direct deposit set up on the card, and I'm concerned about ensuring it transfers to the new card promptly. When contacting the automated system, it mentioned two cards on my account when I only have one, unless the second one refers to my replacement card. I need assistance urgently as I worry about unauthorized card orders and potential deposit issues. Unfortunately, I couldn't resolve this through the system without the canceled card details or speaking to a representative. I hope to address this matter swiftly to safeguard my direct deposit. I have been unable to access my mobile app for over two weeks now. Despite my attempts to contact customer service for assistance, I only receive a run-around and have not been able to speak with anyone. I've tried troubleshooting by uninstalling the app, changing my username, and requesting a password reset code multiple times, both via text and email, but have not received the necessary information. Currently, I have been waiting on hold for an hour and 28 minutes today. This situation is incredibly frustrating and unacceptable.

I recently used my account to receive my stimulus payment, and it was functioning well. However, now I am unable to access it. When I try to log in through the app, it informs me that my account is locked. Online, I can view my account, but clicking on the mobile tab prompts me to call for assistance. I suspect my previous card expired, and although lost, I managed by transferring funds to my mother. I have been attempting to resolve this for a week but have not received any helpful responses.

Since August, I have had power of attorney for my son. I handle all his affairs. Today, he received a refund from Amazon, but they mistakenly put it on his compromised Green Dot card instead of his new bank account. He can't recall his password as we don't have access to his old phone or email. I urgently need assistance to change his PIN before it's too late. I accidentally fell asleep with your team on the line. Despite my numerous attempts to reach out for assistance, my issue hasn't been resolved. Someone accessed my account and is using my money. You all said you would close all my cards, but instead, I still have multiple accounts and haven't received my refund. I need urgent help before taking legal action for the lack of assistance and misinformation provided. I specifically requested only one card to be active, but my funds are still being used. I have lost my bank card and cannot recall its number. I have also forgotten my user ID and password, leaving me unable to access my account. While I have my account number, which was used for my tax refund and stimulus payment, I encounter issues with the phone system stating my social security number and birthday are invalid. I am in need of a new card, but I am currently stuck in the process and facing difficulty reaching a live person for assistance.

I'm having trouble retrieving my username. Every time I try, it redirects me to the page to enter my card details, social security number, and then prompts an error message despite trying numerous times throughout the day. It seems like my account isn't being recognized. Unfortunately, I can't recall my username or password. I attempted to check my balance at the ATM, but it mentioned that my card is restricted with an error message.

I contacted Greendot to obtain an account number for the electronic deposit of my federal stimulus funds. The money was successfully deposited. They sent a card to the address I provided, but unfortunately, it's not where I reside, and the current occupant is not giving me my mail. I've spent countless hours on the phone trying to rectify this issue and gain access to my funds. Greendot insists on activating the original card they sent and will only send further cards to that address. I am at a standstill. I managed to get a second Greendot card, but they refuse to transfer the funds over the phone to that account. I am unsure what steps to take next, as I have spent hours waiting on hold to speak with a representative, including a five-hour wait on one occasion.

I own three cards, but I cannot access two of them. Unfortunately, money was mistakenly sent to one of the inactive cards linked to my Messenger account on Facebook. I have already submitted a report and have a reference number. I used a debit card to purchase a prepaid Visa card for $[redacted], which was never activated. It was either lost or stolen. The reference number I have is missing a dash, but I believe I know where it should be. I waited on hold for over 4 hours. Please assist me. I am extremely dissatisfied with Green Dot. I feel like I was not only taken advantage of by the Disney Magic Movie Club but also by Green Dot. My money was not refunded to me. As a disabled person with a single income, that $85 was crucial for me. After being given $2, which only brought my balance to $5.12, I was then denied the remainder of my funds. I am now left with nothing. This situation is incredibly unjust. My husband is incarcerated nine hours away from me, and Green Dot placed a restriction on his card this morning after he received a deposit. This is causing distress as we were expecting a $[redacted] deposit from the IRS stimulus check. I set up the Green Dot card for him to receive his funds as he is unable to have the card himself. I handle taking the money off the card for him. I have all the necessary information and request for the card to be operational again so I can send money to my husband. I am upset that I couldn't access his funds when he needed it. As his wife, I am responsible for managing his affairs, so please remove the restriction for my husband to access his money.

I mistakenly ended up opening a debit card with your company while attempting to activate a gift card. I have been attempting to cancel this card for the past few months. I currently have a negative balance of $27, which I do not intend to pay due to my unsuccessful attempts to contact customer service. I have made several efforts to reach out, but have found myself waiting endlessly on hold without any assistance. Additionally, I tried to zero out my balance by adding funds, but encountered issues connecting my bank account to your system. Despite my numerous attempts, I have not been successful in resolving this matter.

I am having trouble accessing my account because I don't have my login information or the card number to verify my identity. Could you kindly remove the security lock from my unlimited Green Dot card? I am currently incarcerated, and it is necessary for my wife to send me funds from the card. Today, the deposit was made to my account, but due to the lock, she was unable to access the money. Please unlock my card so she can transfer the funds.
