to get a mistake created upon registration corrected to receive actual card ... **walmart money card a.k.a Green Dot bought the money card about a month ago to get stuff for my son (**), had asked him to go ahead and register the card for me, the SSN came up and instead of bringing it to my attention he put in ********* and my DOB, well after he told me about the SSN I looked up online and found its required because of terrorists (would have been nice to know upon purchase), we waited * weeks for the personalized card, never received it, so I tried contacting Customer Service numerous times via email and get the same automated response regardless of whats typed in email, have call numerous times but get the automated service with NO option to speak to a real person, based on the automated email responses it states "We were unable to verify and do not have access to the personal information you provided. We do not have control for the verification process. Only your temporary card was registered and it cannot be changed. A personalized card will not be issued.**Federal law requires us to obtain, verify and record your name, address, date of birth, phone number and Social Security number when you register a Walmart card. We’re also required to keep the cardholder's information on file.**Please note, this card can only be used for in-person transactions, has no cash and ATM access and cannot be used online or over the phone.
