I basically wanted to cancel my greendot card and I called two weeks in a row and nobody answered the phone. I kept being put on hold. I finally got through the automated response yesterday and I called to cancel my card and a customer service rep told me that I shouldn't cancel my card until I took my ** cents off. When that information is false, since I can get refunded my money in the mail. I dont want the change I just want to cancel my account. I tried calling today again twice but they keep changing the automated response prompt when I enter my social security number, everytime. So I can't cancel my card before the *. They are trying to charge me for the next month on purpose. They keep the automated response prompt on numbers, *-* then on *-*. When the second prompt went all the way to *-*. If this Dont get fixed, Im gonna call corporate on your company. This is ridiculous.
I trust that Green Dot will make this right and come up with a resolution that is fair.
