I’m trying to continue with bill the same as it has been or break up payments for me, I am going through a tremendous hardship with my wife’s illness that limits my income ... My wife was diagnosed with invasive Bladder cancer and went through chemotherapy and neo Bladder surgery, her bladder was removed, I’ve had to quit my job to stay home and take care of her and am living off my retirement from the military,I got a letter that said Georgia Power is adding a ***.** deposit to my next bill, I need to discuss this, I can’t afford This, if I have to do this the deposit has to be broken up into maybe ** extra for * months but I can’t go back to work for another * or * months, my wife requires constant care , And there is nobody to take care of her but me, and if electricity is cut off, the heat will kill her
I have never had my electricity turned off due to lack of payment, I just can only pay the past due every month
I don’t think I should be charged a deposit, because of my current situation, because I’ve never had my electricity turned off
I have had service for * years and always paid the past due or what was due every month
My wife should recover in about * months and should be able to go back to work then, and I can bring everything back up to date, I’m a veteran asking for a little understanding of situation here, thank you for your consideration
