I own a **** Cadillac SRX with ***,*** miles. It has been burning excessive oil at rapid rates (ie * quarts within * week) to the point that every time I check the oil levels, it is bone dry. I just had the oil changed a month and a half ago and they just ran a follow up diagnostic test verifying that there are no leaks and it is a fault of the car manufacturer. There is a technical service bulletin (reference * **-**-**-***C issued *******) indicating engine oil consumption meriting air cleaner housing test and repair procedure to install piston rings and service the PCV system on this make*model*year of vehicle. I have called * local dealers and neither are willing to perform the above service recommended in the technical service bulletin. I need this problem rectified immediately. It is dangerous for my children and I to ride in a cary running on no oil and it is proving quite costly to fill my engine with oil every week. I look forward to hearing from you as soon as possible.
