I purchased a GE gas range just shy of * years ago. My gas company came and checked all my appliances last night because I was experiencing symptoms of carbon monoxide poisoning. They found that the gas range was the cause. They shut off the gas supply to the range and “red-tagged” it saying it was not to be used and needed replaced. I called GE because it’s still in warranty. After waiting almost * hours, Fantasia called me back and her only offer was that I had to allow their technician into my home thus unnecessarily potentially exposing my family to COVID and let them turn it back on (exposing us all to carbon monoxide AGAIN) so their guy can say it’s dangerous! That’s ludicrous! It’s not like I’m just pointing the finger at them. The gas company tested it! I offered to allow them to pick up the range and test it at their shop or wherever, but they refused and I absolutely refuse to getting sick again over their faulty appliance. Please help!!
