My wife's I-Pad could not get on line (wireless signal not working) this morning. This is a recurring problem with this Frontier Router*Modem. This malfunction was corrected by disconnecting the power to the Router and restarting it a minute later. Then a new problem appeared. My DSL * line indicator suddenly turned RED, then went back to Green later. After some period of time. DSL * went back to a constant RED condition* when, I do not know! The period in between cut my Internet speed to less than * MSPS. Later still, the DSL * line went GREEN and I re-checked my download speed and it had returned to ** MBPS. It has remained Green since! This is a huge nuisance folks, especially when I pay my bill immediately on receipt. I expect the service you are responsible for, to also be in the "expert class of Immediate response". I can nail this Router to the power pole out front and find another ISP. However, I do not wish to change from Frontier, so please help me out. Get a Frontier tech - aka live human being - on the phone. He ran an analysis of my router from his location. It was operating perfectly. However, it seem that removing power and then plugging it back in, is the normal. The loss of one of the DSL lines could be due to maintenance work on the phone lines. It appears that was the case. It is past *PM and all is still operating normal!
