On September **, **** I made a trip from Orlando, FL to Cincinnati, Ohio for a death in the family. At the Orlando airport we ran into some problems at the desk with an attendant not wanting to push back our tickets. We called customer service they resolved the issue and moved all * tickets to a later time same day for a total of $***. we paid the fee and boarding out flight. My return flight was on September **, **** at *:**pm from Cincinnati, Ohio to Orlando, FL. On this day I arrived for my flight returned my rental car and proceed to check in and pay for a check bag. The attendant spent ** minutes giving me the run around about a check bag time limit which I had made in time for before she actually checked my bag in. Once that was done I finally get to the gate at *:**pm to see my plane at the gate but the door closed. The attendant informs me that the plane is taking off. I have a disabled mother in a wheelchair and a * year old daughter with me from my understanding I still had ** minutes to board my flight. Scheduling for the next flight would have been $*** per person which I didn't have at the time due to the death in my family which is the reason for the trip. I call customer service to inform them as to what happened and they offered the $*** per person to move the tickets. I'm not understanding as to why I would have to buy * more tickets if they plane took off before scheduled time and why am I not being able to get a refund back for the inconvenience? The supervisor informed me that they will would accommodate another passenger or hold a plane if the plane decides to leave early. I'm not asking for accommodation but an answer as to why I couldn't get on a plane that was not schedule to leave for another ten minutes? I fly with frontier all the time and jus recently got enough trust to become a member to your airline and this is what happens when you fly with frontier?
