Help with my FreedomPop issue
The issue in GetHuman909560's own words
I was trying to swap number between * FP accounts, and was trying to login to FP support site to place a ticket. ... SWAPPING issue:**. I need to swap my number in freedompop account A with new freedompop account B.**. FreedomPop redirects to login to support for that matter.**. I cannot login to FreedomPop support no matter how I do with support account separate from my main account or they have a link to regular FreedomPop account to login for that as well. In either way I end up with error message.**. I called FreedomPop ***-***-**** but it only redirects support site.**. I also emailed to FreedomPop support. But it just redirected to support site again.**. So I came to GetHuman to help me. I just need to swap my FreedomPop phone number to new sim card. I am using iPhone *.
Big issue of login to FP support, which supposedly requires separate account from regular*user account (which is by the way nowhere clearly written) and inability to do that.*They give * types of error message in logging in. "Username is required" even when my complete*name appeared under the error message, and "Your account does not have a password assigned to it yet. Click here to reset your password" which does not have any clickable link as it suggested.
Make a statement conspicuously about porting types and ways to do it.*Make all suggested links work avoiding circular useless links and words.*Or place a customer hotline visible without need of login while login issue is not solved*to get a human attentive voice.
I accepted my friend's recommendation of FP and invited my family. Two of them are FP users.
Went to GetHuman for help and got the workable customer support number: ***-***-****.*It was on Monday. FP attendant responded after a few number choice keyings even after a recorded voice suggested to call back on Tuesday or later due to high demand for support on Monday. The attendant took care of my issue of swapping number immediately so I was able to start using the ported-in number and was also able to cancel my previous account on line. When the fixing procedure was completed over the phone, I asked her other frequent issue of calling and receiving a call which would not go through ending up in missed call without ringing. I must tell you the person who attended me was very patient to understand my detailed issue description and also patient to explain how to solve it again. She sent me an email of solution and I followed it to solve it. The essence of the solution for missed-call-without-ringing issue was: *) uninstall FreedomPop calling and texting app, *) reinstall it, and *) refresh account. NOTE: while you doing so APN resetting and re-registering occur. Just let it go through. This must be done not only you but any of your FP friend who might have experienced this with you, I assume. Happy FPing!
