My bill is normally in the $60 area, and I just received my December bill of $241.79 -- I have not added anything from previous months that use electricty -- how can we determine the problem?

There are a few factors that could contribute to a significant increase in your electric bill. Consider these possibilities: changes in weather can increase heating or cooling needs, and holiday lighting or extra cooking can also use more electricity. It's also worth checking if there are any billing errors or if your usage increased due to factors you may not have considered, like new appliances. Reviewing your bill for detailed charges and comparing current usage to previous months can also help identify the issue.

How can I get a copy of my FPL bill

You can get a copy of your FPL bill by logging into your online FPL account. Once logged in, navigate to the "Billing" tab where you'll find an overview of your current and past bills. Click on the bill for which you want a copy, and there will be an option to download it. These bills can be saved as a PDF for your records or printed if a hard copy is needed. If you do not have an online account, you can register for one on the FPL website using your account number and last four digits of the account holder's Social Security number.
