I was working out at your Oceanside, CA gym, at ****, on *******, with my ** year old daughter (she is an elite soccer player) when the gym speaker was playing a song which repeatedly said, “**** me nice.” Needless to say I was unhappy as it was said over and over again. I am not paying to hear that type of vulgar language while working out. If an adult chooses to listen to that on their ear buds that is their prerogative. I was even more flabbergasted by the response of your manager. I walked up to his desk and stated, “I am highly offended by the song playing over your sound system which is repeatedly saying, ‘**** me nice, **** me nice’ considering I am working out with my ** year old daughter.” He responded, “Well I think it’s highly inappropriate that you would say the actual words and it is bleeped out any way.” I said, “They are very clearly saying the actual words. Do you think I would stop my workout and repeat words, which I find highly offensive, if it was bleeped out?” I was incredulous. No apology- he was unwilling to turn it off and did absurdly nothing. If this is the level of unprofessionalism which is tolerated at Fitness **, I will cancel my membership and convey this story over social media as it is absolutely unacceptable. I expect this situation to be ameliorated immediately.
