Been a member of the La Sierra, Riverside club since it had opened and am very close to leaving. The turnover and new staff get worse and worse and no one seems to care. In addition to the loud, horrendous rap music that plays every weekend AM (the employees say they are unable to change stations or lower it)...cannot even hear my own headset, it is that loud.*This AM (Sunday) I arrived around *:** AM. The female employee (have't seen before, believe she said her name was Gloria when I asked) was on her cell phone laughing and having a grand old time. The shades throughout the club were not drawn and none of the TV monitors were on. After stretching four about ** minutes I went on the elliptical and there were still no monitors on. I walked over to "Gloria" (if that was her name) and she was still laughing, on cell phone and playing with her computer. I asked if there was something wrong with the TV monitors and she replied, oops. She said that she was very tired and laughed. I mentioned she appeared to be having fun. When she mentioned she was too tired to work, *I said that was her job. Really immature, irresponsible...she was friendly and not rude but obviously is not into her job and a disservice to your club. Been in consumer protection my entire working life and she is definitely lacking.*This club has really gone down hill since Al moved on to bigger and better positions. BTW, the fellow who sometimes works weekends, Aaron, is TERRIFIC...great attitude.
