First Citizens Bank Customer Service Issues

I've been cashing my paycheck at the Stop n Shop branch on Manton Avenue in Providence, RI for many years since I don't have an account there. Today, I encountered an incredibly rude customer service representative named Julianna. Despite explaining my situation, she insisted I provide a matching address on my ID, creating unnecessary trouble. I even spoke with a manager who was equally unhelpful. This experience was distressing, especially considering I was there with my handicapped child. I will not be considering Citizens Bank for any future banking needs due to this poor treatment.

We have had a commercial mortgage with this bank for 8 years. Our payments are always made via ACH from a third-party bank before the 21st. In June [redacted], due to the weekend and holiday, the payment arrived on the 22nd, but the bank debited the account on the 21st resulting in an NSF fee. No notification was received. Since then, we have been charged late fees of around $[redacted]/month for not applying the June payment. We do not use this account for anything else, do not receive statements, and lacked online access. The bank only recently contacted us after 6 months about the issue. We have been trying to access online functionality but face delays and unhelpful responses from both customer service and the account manager.
