After hacking in July, BestBuy Store didn't do a good job in helping me recover. In addition to other mistakes, they created a new facebook site for me, incomplete in a number of problems. I hated it, but they told me my old account could not be recovered. A couple of weeks later a friend called and told me to type my name in the Search block and it would bring up both the one I have had for years and years, and it did! I loved to having it back because it also had photos of my son, who died in March, in addition to over *,*** friends (as I was once an actor, a singer and writer) many of whom I was in touch with. I used that one until some day last week, when it lost the white block that comes up where one can post messages. It's on that new account, which I do not want at all, but gone on my favorite and long-held Facebook page. I am a senior and disabled, Facebook is one of my connections to the outer world. Can someone help me with bringing the old account back to life? Thank you... fingers crossed!
Best Buy originally told me that they had to create a new account, because my old one was not Facebook. Not accurate, found it myself simply by searching, but cannot post.
I would like my original Facebook to let me post on it. It has all the information of my life there, I'm disabled and it is my link to the world. Please be sure it is not the site created by Best Buy. My real account has a large picture of my sister who had Down Syndrome, that's the one I want.
I have been a customer of Geek Squad for a long, long time, several decades and have bought many things from Best Buy since they first opened.
No way to do so.
