Hello, I'm experiencing a troubling issue with my Facebook account being hacked. Two days ago, I began receiving multiple emails from Facebook containing verification codes that I did not request. Additionally, my name was changed to "DEWI" without my consent. When trying to access my account via both the app and Google, I found that my account was no longer accessible. Despite listing some friends for account recovery, I have been unsuccessful in regaining access. To further complicate matters, the hacker changed my email address, preventing me from receiving the verification code by sending it to their email. I have enlisted the help of friends who have reported the hacking to Facebook, and I have requested them to unfriend me for security reasons. The hackers are using my account to sell branded items, and some friends have left negative comments on these posts, which seemed to have been deleted. I urgently seek advice on how to reclaim my account.

I'm having trouble accessing my posts and comments on my personal Facebook profile using my iPad 4 Mini. The Facebook app has disappeared from my list of authorized auto-updates on my Apple device. Apple Customer Service assisted me temporarily, but the issue has recurred, making it impossible to view anything beyond my homepage. Additionally, as an Admin of 2 Group Pages, I can't directly access specific new posts, pictures, or comments despite receiving notifications. I'm directed to the Group Homepages, requiring me to manually search for the latest content. I reached out for assistance through the Facebook app's help and support, including attached screenshots, but have yet to receive a response.

Recently, my Facebook was accessed by someone, so I changed my password to secure it. Later on, I discovered the same person potentially logged in again, and this time, they changed my Yahoo email as well as the recovery phone number. Every method to reset my email or password has been altered, leaving me with no access to both Facebook and Yahoo. I attempted to reset using email and phone number but failed to provide enough information for assistance. The only successful step was with Facebook, where I submitted a visual ID for identity verification.

I recently discovered that my house is advertised for rent on Facebook Marketplace, even though it's not actually for rent. The listing was copied from a legitimate sale listing by a realtor on Zillow. This has led to strangers coming to my property, peering through windows after being directed there by someone using a fake email in my name. I fear for my safety as a woman living alone. Despite reporting the listing multiple times, Facebook only temporarily removes it before it reappears, possibly due to not recognizing it as a scam. I worry that if someone pays a deposit to the scammer and finds out it's not a rental, they may damage my property. The situation is distressing, and I feel vulnerable. I've included the link to the fake listing to highlight the urgency of this safety issue. Your assistance in resolving this matter is greatly appreciated.

My advertising account was restricted, and I'm uncertain about the reason as I can't find any compliance issues. The majority of my clients are in education, so the ads are straightforward and not controversial. I appealed the decision, but it was rejected. Lately, I've noticed strange occurrences with my account, like receiving emails about suspicious activity and being shown ads in Russian, suggesting I'm targeted for speaking Russian, which isn't true. I'm wondering if my account may have been compromised, causing the restriction. This situation is affecting my livelihood as paid media is crucial for my work. I've always adhered to Facebook's advertising policies, and my clients have no involvement in unlawful activities. I'm puzzled about why my profile was restricted and would appreciate some clarification. Thank you.

Hello, I'm Dolena W. from Facebook. Recently, I was informed that I had won an award from Facebook. Excited about the potential funds for school expenses, I contacted a phone number. Unfortunately, I was asked to provide my ID and password for my Facebook account in order to receive the award money. Following this, my Facebook account began behaving oddly despite multiple password changes as the unknown person wouldn't log off. When I reached out to the phone number for assistance, instead of helping me recover my account access, the individual mentioned a $[redacted] fee to have the award mailed to me. Although I initially saw the award amount as $22,[redacted] on Facebook, the person on the phone only mentioned $5,[redacted] would be sent if I paid the $[redacted]. Regrettably, I couldn't retrieve my email and password. 😓

I experienced issues resetting my password, which caused concern about the security of my account. Despite verifying my identity with pictures of my driver's license, I was unable to set a new password due to a message appearing that I was trying too often, even though it was my first attempt. I am worried about the possibility of my account being compromised. Thank you for your assistance in resolving this matter.

I purchased 2 pairs of 2t Nike shorts from a seller on Facebook Marketplace. After meeting in person to collect the items, I discovered I was only given 1 pair of 2t shorts and an extra pair of xs shorts. The seller claimed one pair must have fallen out of the bag by accident and promised to meet me the next day to provide the missing pair. However, despite several attempts to contact her, she has not responded to arrange a meet up. I paid $8 for both pairs and now I am unsure how to proceed in getting the missing pair I paid for.

I purchased two pairs of toddler Nike shorts from a seller on a marketplace platform. When I arrived home, I discovered that she had only given me one pair of shorts and an extra pair in a different size. I contacted her regarding the missing pair, and she mentioned it must have fallen out of the bag and then later found it. She agreed to meet the next day to give me the correct shorts but has since not responded to my messages. I followed up with her again, but she still hasn't provided the missing item. I paid $8 for both pairs of shorts and simply want to receive the second pair that I paid for.

My original Facebook page, created around [redacted] under the name Reshonda Duncan, has been hacked, and I am unable to access it anymore. The email associated with that account, [redacted], is no longer in use since [redacted]. Today at around 4 pm, I was logged in on my Moto G phone when I received a message informing me that my account was accessed from an unknown device for the second consecutive day. Feeling suspicious, I was about to change my password from RDflournoy1 (previously RDcaldwell1), but I got locked out before I could do so. My messenger contains private messages and photos, and the thought of someone having access to them is unsettling. I am willing to create a new page, but I urge for my current Facebook and linked messenger to be shut down to prevent further unauthorized access. You can reach me at [redacted], associated with my secondary page under the name Duncan Duncan, which has not been compromised.

Can someone please assist in reactivating my Facebook account? The system flagged it as hacked, and I appreciate the security measures, but I've tried all the recovery steps to no avail. I requested a code via text but didn't receive it. My mobile number is +[redacted]02. Additionally, I answered the security questions accurately, yet it didn't work. This situation is frustrating, and if not resolved promptly, I may switch to using Instagram instead.

Five years ago, I created a Messenger account using my email and number without Facebook. Recently, I created a Facebook account with the same email and number hoping to merge the two accounts, but couldn't. I've been using both Messenger accounts for a few months, mainly sticking to my original 5-year-old account. Today, I switched to a new phone, and when I transferred my SD card containing the Messenger data, the old account didn't show up when I reinstalled the app on both phones. Now, I'm struggling to retrieve my old account that holds important information. Any assistance is appreciated.

On June 17th, both my Facebook and Instagram Accounts were simultaneously shut down without warning. This situation resembles a past issue I had in February [redacted], where my page was mistakenly identified as fake and used for spam, resulting in its deactivation. I had to provide my state ID then to prove my account's authenticity, which had been active since [redacted]. This time, both my Facebook and Instagram accounts got suspended, possibly due to their connection as Facebook owns Instagram. I have not violated any terms of service or posted anything inappropriate. Using backup accounts is uncomfortable, as this was kept secret from many. Connecting with others has been challenging. Despite reaching out to Facebook tech support multiple times, the Help Center's responses have been unhelpful. Even reporting issues leads to generic responses. Considering legal action for custodial care of my children, I urgently need access to my Facebook Messenger conversations with my kids' mother, which contain crucial evidence. I hope for a quick resolution as many important pictures are lost on these accounts, not backed up due to recent phone changes.

Hello, I have recently had my Facebook page unpublished for violating Facebook policies. I have carefully reviewed the content on my page and see no issues with what I have posted thus far. Despite being a public figure, my requests for page verification have been unsuccessful. While I understand that not all pages are verified, I believe fake accounts may have contributed to the disablement of my account due to potential misinformation being reported under my name. My page, facebook.com/NonzwakaziDayimani, is intended for entertainment purposes and is not meant to cause harm or offend any specific group. I kindly request for my page to be republished and would appreciate guidance on any potential errors I may have made to prevent this from happening in the future. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.

I am experiencing difficulties logging into my and my wife's Facebook accounts associated with the IDs facebook/sureshg2b and facebook/g2bindia2. Following an attempt to clean up our contacts, using Facebook's toolkit to unfriend unwanted connections, our accounts were locked due to suspicious activities. Despite setting new passwords as instructed, we are repeatedly prompted to change the password, receiving confirmation emails but not being able to access our accounts. This issue is preventing us from accessing our business pages, Greet.to.Birthday, Greetkaroindia, thebestofmumbai, Diabetes, CelBdays, and Steviasugar.in, where we are the only administrators. We urgently need assistance to regain access to both our personal and business accounts. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. Regards, Suresh S Reeena S

Hello, I realized on August 21st that my Facebook account has been disabled because it was reported as fake. I sent my ID as requested but haven't received a reply yet. I am concerned and sad about losing access to my account, as it is not fake, and I believe someone falsely reported it. I have two groups, "Shama'r Rannaghor" related to food, and "Kiddicare and Mummycare" for baby-related content. My friends noticed that someone hacked my cooking group, changed its name, and deleted all the food recipes. I have been using this account for 12 years and never posted anything political or religious. It's a family-friendly account used to stay in touch with loved ones. I am particularly upset because it contains all my family and cooking photos, especially after recently losing my husband. I am desperate to retrieve my account and all the memories associated with it. My name is Shama Hasnin, and I have shared my actual date of birth and proof of identity with Facebook. I urge them to reconsider and reactivate my account so I can preserve these irreplaceable memories. Thank you.

I am frustrated with potential buyers on Facebook Marketplace. Multiple buyers have left negative ratings for me without completing any purchase. For example, one buyer was late for a meetup so I had to leave to pick up my daughter, resulting in a negative rating. This has happened four times in various situations, and it's unfair that these non-buyers can impact my seller reputation. Additionally, despite specifying "phone calls only" in my current Marketplace ad, people keep messaging me instead. When I ask them to call as stated, they react negatively and leave poor ratings. Facebook needs to address these issues and ensure fairness for sellers like me. Thank you, Samuel J. from Australia.

A few days ago, I received an email informing me about an unfamiliar login to my account, prompting me to secure it. However, the link provided in the email had expired. After attempting to log in multiple times with no success, I realized that both my email address and password had been changed by the unauthorized user. Despite searching for alternative contact information, I only found my old email address, [redacted], which I hadn't used in years. I logged in but now face a challenge as it requires a code from my authentication app, which I cannot access since I'm logged out of all devices. It has been three days since I've been locked out, and I'm eager to regain access to my account where I have cherished memories accumulated over my five years as a Facebook user. I'm desperate to recover my account as creating a new one would mean losing all these precious moments. Please assist me in recovering my account.

I am a 23-year-old social media moderator for a popular clothing brand. After my mom's passing last month, I took over her role, which she held for over 11 years. I have been assisting her for a few years before that. Recently, the saved password for her personal Facebook account, which has admin access to the brand's pages I work on, got overwritten on my work computer. Even though I am still logged in on my old laptop, I cannot change the password without the current one. Despite trying known passwords, none seem to work. The associated email is a rocketmail account over 15 years old, and nobody in my family can access it, including my late mom. I have her phone, another email address (possibly not linked to the account), and proof of login on a different device. I need help resetting the password to regain access.
