Dear all, I am having trouble accessing my Facebook account as I can't recall my password and the phone number linked to it is no longer valid. Despite adding a new email address to the account, the verification codes sent to it are not working. I am determined to recover my account and stop using the other phone numbers associated with it. I believe using an email for verification is more secure than phone numbers due to number changes. I am experiencing difficulty with repeated code attempts, prompting a message indicating that I should try again later. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. You can reach me at [redacted] Thank you.

I would like to merge an old Facebook account that has been inactive for several years with my current one. Even if I need to regain access to my old account to transfer its data, I am willing to do so. I understand Facebook's policy of one profile per person, but merging old accounts with current ones would simplify this. Many users have multiple accounts due to being locked out or needing a fresh start without losing memories and data from the old accounts. I believe implementing this feature would benefit many users and reduce the number of empty accounts for Facebook to manage.

I recently got a new Samsung J7 phone, and an AT&T agent transferred my old phone data to the new one. However, after this, all my accounts like Facebook and Messenger were disabled. I tried to recover my Facebook account but was told my email and phone number were invalid, which isn't true as I can access them. I attempted to create a new account with no success and even offered to provide photo ID as proof of identity. The situation is frustrating, as now it seems like I am being labeled as a fake or imposter. I am upset because I have never had issues accessing my Facebook account before, and it's disheartening to not be able to log in and reconnect with my friends. If there is a way to assist me, please contact me at [redacted]. My name is Kelly J. from Greenfield, Indiana.

Hello, my name is Rory L. I noticed on Tuesday morning that I was unexpectedly logged out of my Facebook account on my phone. Despite never logging out manually, I attempted to log back in using my phone number and password, only to receive an error message stating my account was not recognizable. Facebook does have my email on file as "[redacted]," but I created my account a decade ago with an outdated email, leaving me unable to access it. After sending pictures of my driver's license to verify my identity, Facebook reached out to me at my new email address, "[redacted]," providing a link and a 6-digit code to reset my password. Unfortunately, I encountered an issue when trying to enter the code as I received an error message after just one unsuccessful attempt, prompting me to wait before trying again. Despite subsequent efforts, Facebook no longer recognizes my Gmail address linked to my account, making it impossible for me to regain control. It appears that my Facebook account has been compromised, and the hacker keeps altering my Gmail information, hindering my access. I am willing to provide any necessary information to confirm my identity, excluding access to my outdated Yahoo email. Thank you.

Recently, my wife's account was compromised and she got locked out. The affected account belonged to Jessica D. Shell. We occasionally come across the account on friend's profiles but are unable to access it. It holds sentimental value as she lost her father, and she believes there are precious photos she would like to retrieve. Initially, we attempted to recover it through the "lost password" option and other self-help methods without success. We failed to reach out to Facebook for assistance at that time. Any help in restoring the account would be immensely appreciated as I am hoping to surprise her with this gesture.

This morning, my wife informed me that my new profile picture is actually of my cousin Travis, who just got married in Texas last week. I believe I have ended up with three Facebook pages that were created when I was prompted by Facebook to change my profile picture. One is my original from years ago with my daughter Sophie on the trampoline, the second is me with a kite around my neck, and the third one I created in cartoon style. It seems I have three different email addresses all linked to one account, causing this confusion. I may have just figured out the root of my problem. I need help deleting these extra accounts as I want to spend my time more productively. Thank you for your support.

Title: Issue with Facebook Page Editor Status Reset Vulnerability Type: Other Product Area: Facebook - Web Description: A Facebook Page admin is trying to grant Editor access to a normal user. However, upon acceptance, if the user refreshes the page, it reverts back to the initial state. This functional glitch can occur multiple times and will impact users, particularly those with low connectivity, as they have to repeatedly provide input due to the reset. Reproduction Steps: 1. The admin sends a request to make a normal user an Editor. 2. The Editor receives the request. 3. The Editor accepts the request. 4. Upon refreshing the page, the accepted request resets to the initial state, requiring the user to provide input again. This issue does not have a clear solution as of now.

Good morning, I am Thoriso Ishmael Modisana from South Africa. I woke up today to find my Facebook account frozen and was asked to upload a picture of myself, which I did. Sadly, I am now unable to access my account. This account is crucial for my business as I use my real name and photos to promote it. I am puzzled as to why Facebook would freeze my account without prior warning or guidance on how to comply with their community standards. The sudden disappearance of my account, Modisana Thoriso Ishmael, is impacting my business and my daily life. I kindly request the reinstatement of my account as soon as possible as I am discontent with Facebook's actions. I await your prompt response. Regards, Thoriso Ishmael Modisana

Hello, I am seeking assistance regarding a recent situation involving a post on Th Kismet Park Primary School page about the cancellation of our children's Christmas carols event. Several parents shared concerns and frustrations in the comments section, but the school has since deleted all comments and made accusations. We are considering reaching out to the education department for further action. Could you help recover all the deleted comments and determine if any were inappropriate or considered as bullying? Also, would it be possible to retrieve and send me all comments, including mine, so I can proceed accordingly? Thank you. Please feel free to contact me for more details.

Hello, good morning. I have been dealing with a hacked Facebook account since October [redacted]. Despite attempting multiple methods, I have been unable to regain access to my account. The compromised account is [redacted], with the password being mysaviour_1991, or so I thought. However, it appears I have also forgotten the correct password. Friends have informed me of unusual activity on my account, such as postings in a foreign language and unfamiliar pictures, which I have not done in the last two months due to my inability to log in. I have tried using Facebook's "Forgot My Password" feature, but the 6-digit verification code was sent to my old email, [redacted], which I no longer have access to. Similarly, the verification code was sent to a phone number with a typo, rendering that method useless as well. I am seeking advice on alternative ways to recover my Facebook account or, if that is not possible, to permanently delete it to prevent further unauthorized access by the hacker. Should I consider consulting a computer technician for assistance in either regaining control or deleting the account completely?

Good day, I primarily sell second-hand furniture, upholstery, and blinds. It seems that the appeals process for my items is not effective as items get rejected without proper review. I often have to appeal multiple times without receiving explanations or feedback. The same issue applies to restrictions and blocks; there is no transparency in the reasons behind them. It would be fairer if users were given clear reasons for restrictions. The current system allows for arbitrary blocking due to personal reasons or competition. There should be a more transparent and communicative process for managing blocks and restrictions. I am frustrated by being told that I violated community standards without specifics on what item caused this. It's important to receive responses from the appeal team for clarity and fairness in resolving these issues.

Hello, I was using Facebook regularly when I tried to log in on the afternoon of the 12th of December, [redacted], and I got denied. I received a message saying that my account has been suspended for violating the Facebook terms of use. I have no knowledge of what could have triggered this action. Additionally, my Instagram account has been suspended because it's linked to my Facebook account. I would really appreciate some information about my situation because I don't know which policies I have violated, and I am struggling to obtain information on this matter. Furthermore, since I have been using Facebook since [redacted], I have forgotten the email I used to create it. For contact purposes, I use [redacted] I can verify my identity with my password, phone number, and I can provide my ID if needed; I just need some guidance.

I recently got disabled on Facebook without any valid reason. I'm the only person with my name in Boynton Beach, FL, which should be easy to verify in your system. Unfairly, right after joining Facebook for the first time, my account got disabled. My colleagues use Facebook without issues, making my experience very frustrating. I was eager to reconnect with old friends, but now I can't. Unlike my past experience, I kindly ask for specific information about why my account was disabled and how to solve this issue. I'm uncertain about the ID requested for the appeal document; if given the details, I would have provided it promptly.

I deactivated my Facebook account in [redacted], but it seems to have been reactivated. I'm unable to access it as I don't have all the login details anymore, and the email associated with it is inactive. I've tried the name recovery option without success due to common names. Please assist in tracing the account with the following details: Name: Michael Johnson (could be Mike Johnson) DOB: 19/01/[redacted] Email: ends with @student.manchester.ac.uk Hometown: Truro, Cornwall, UK Alma Mater: Truro School and the University of Manchester Your help in accessing and deactivating the account is appreciated. Thank you, Mike.

I recently downloaded a karaoke app and accidentally created a new account instead of logging into Facebook. I filled in the name Meg Navarro, thinking it was for Facebook, then realized and deleted the app right away. However, I found out that a new account exists with that name, even though I didn't proceed with creating it. My actual Facebook account is under the name Anjel Berry. I can't access the Meg Navarro account to delete it or deactivate it. I'm concerned about my privacy and security since it's open for anyone to use. Please assist me in removing this account. Thank you.

The account remains inaccessible to me due to being locked out while changing emails, leaving me unable to reset the password as the email linked to it is no longer valid. Thank you for your help. Regards, Brie-Anna F.

I have a legal matter regarding the South Tampa Pet Resort Facebook page and urgently need to chat with someone. I'm representing the owner with proper legal documentation. We've launched a new business and seek access to the account to preserve current photos; however, the former account holder, now terminated, refuses to provide the password. In an effort to handle this discreetly and protect the business's reputation, we're aiming to avoid involving authorities. Kindly contact me at [redacted] for swift resolution. Thank you.

I recently had my account suspended for using a word that was deemed inappropriate, yet another user was allowed to insult me and call me names without repercussions. It seems unfair that my account was suspended based on one word while others were able to freely use offensive language towards me. I believe the word I used is not offensive and is directed at someone who is acting foolish. I would appreciate it if the situation involving Efrayim Fischbacher and Mark is addressed properly as they also used disrespectful language. There seems to be a lack of consistency in handling these situations as my side of the story was not fully considered.

My husband and I have been using Facebook for a long time. We both use it together, and I personally sell items on online yard sale sites through the platform with great success. Lately, I've encountered an issue with Facebook when trying to sell my authentic Michael Kors purses. Despite never having problems in the past, I keep receiving notifications that there is an issue with the purses I'm listing. Even after waiting for a couple of months and trying again, I face the same problem. I would appreciate assistance in understanding why this issue is occurring, as I value using Facebook for selling my items. It seems to be specific to when I try to list purses as other items are accepted without any problem. Thank you for your help, I am looking forward to your response. - Pam
