The issue in GetHuman-dhedgesr's own words
Actually I'm not exactly sure what happened. I have had Facebook for many years now and never had a problem. Yesterday morning I was messaging on messenger and my phone made a notification ding and when I looked down at my screen it said that my session on Facebook had expired. I tried logging back in and it said incorrect password. I went to the forgot password and had it send me the *-digit code to get back into my account. Every time I tried punching in the six digit code that I was sent, it would not accept it. Now it's telling me that I am locked out of my account for ** hours. I waited ** hours already and tried again at noon today with the same result. It will not accept the recovery code that I am being sent. I have no idea what is going on.
