On March 20, I received Expedia Confirmation ID [redacted]4 for 5 round-trip flights to Orlando and reservations for 2 rooms for 6 nights at the Dolphin. On Friday, March 25, during a virtual chat with Expedia, the system disconnected. After calling back, I learned that one room at the Dolphin was canceled due to a system issue. Despite several follow-ups, no resolution was reached, causing me to seek alternative accommodation at Disney's Art of Animation. I need a refund for the second room at the Dolphin, which I was informed was canceled by Expedia. I believe I should not bear the cost of this error by Expedia affecting my planned stay.

I would like to cancel my reservation at The Ridges Resort at Lake Chatuga booked through Expedia under the name David Henry for the dates 4/14 - 4/17. The hotel requires a cancellation number from Expedia, which I have not received despite my efforts. The hotel has canceled the reservation at my request and provided me with a cancellation number. However, Expedia needs to issue a cancellation code to me to avoid being billed for that period. I have tried multiple times to resolve this through the Expedia website but have been unsuccessful in reaching a live person for help. Without personal contact at Expedia, this issue remains unresolved. I had a terribly unpleasant experience when I booked a 7-day stay at The Red Roof Inn Studio in Addison, Texas through Expedia. Upon checking in, I encountered an extremely unprofessional employee named Nicole at the front desk. She refused to check me in just because my driver's license had expired by 30 days, despite the fact that I had just had a birthday and legally had 90 days to renew it. She asked for additional forms of identification, such as my social security number, credit card, and paycheck, all of which I provided but was still denied. Nicole was disrespectful and lacked any customer service skills, leaving me with no money on my card that I had given them and no place to stay. We rented a vehicle from April 3-9, [redacted] due to a last-minute cruise cancellation affecting our departure from San Francisco. Our flight this morning was unexpectedly canceled at 1 am for a 6 am departure. We wish to adjust our reservation to start tomorrow instead of today. I booked a stay at the IHG Holiday Inn Airport in Birmingham, Al. through Expedia. When I needed to adjust my reservation, I contacted Expedia to change my check-in and check-out dates. I was reassured by an Expedia Representative that my request was taken care of and emailed to the hotel. However, upon arrival at the hotel, my reservation was not updated as requested, leading to confusion and potential charges. After contacting Expedia again, a Customer Service Representative named Windel assisted me in resolving the issue by coordinating with the hotel and processing a refund to my credit card. I appreciate Windel's help in resolving the situation and ensuring a refund was issued promptly.

I canceled a flight through Expedia on December 20. As it was within 24 hours of booking, they assured me a full refund within 7-10 business days. However, they later informed me that the refund process falls under the airline's jurisdiction and advised me to reach out to them. This lack of upfront clarity caused me distress. The airline, American, requires a ticket number for a refund request, but my Expedia Itinerary does not display one. Despite my efforts, I have been unsuccessful in obtaining a ticket number from Expedia, leaving me in a difficult situation.

I contacted Expedia on March 29th to cancel a hotel booking due to my sick travel partner. The agent initially wanted to charge me $[redacted] to reschedule, but after negotiation, agreed to $[redacted]. However, a few hours later, they claimed the hotel needed more money, which seemed suspicious. When I checked with the hotel, they hadn't been contacted about the change. After multiple calls and speaking with different agents, one finally secured a refund for me, stating Expedia should not have taken payment without the hotel's instruction. Despite promises of a refund and follow-up, I didn't receive any confirmation or resolution. After numerous attempts to reach them, I even involved my bank. I'm still waiting for the refund promised to me. This has been quite frustrating, and I hope to have it resolved promptly.

I was contacted by Green Mountain Inn and Suites in Vermont about a reservation I supposedly had for last night. I informed them that I had not made any such reservation. They insisted that a reservation was made through Expedia on 1/29/22 with confirmation number [redacted]5 and charged my card. When I tried to reach customer service without an itinerary number, I was unsuccessful. I am seeking a refund on my credit card and clarification on how this error occurred. My husband and I did previously book a room at this hotel but had to cancel due to exposure to COVID last year. Could they have obtained my information from that? This situation is perplexing as I did not book a room for last night. Additionally, I recently started a new job and am not eligible for vacation time for several months. I am having trouble accessing your website or mobile app. Even when I call, an automated message tells me there is no reservation. I got a confirmation email with flight details from Paris (CDG) to Tel Aviv (TLV) with Arkia-Israeli Airlines flight [redacted]. I encountered severe issues during my stay. The room I booked was unclean, the hot water took a long time to heat up, and the phones were not working, posing a safety risk. Moreover, three men attempted to enter my room while my daughter and I were inside. It was distressing and took multiple calls from my personal cell to finally reach someone at the front office for help. The situation escalated when the men claimed the room was theirs. According to a hotel staff member on 04/07/22, Hotel Deluxe refunded Expedia, but I have not received my refund from Expedia. I am now without a room and a refund, facing a difficult situation. I booked my trip through Expedia a week ago for a journey from Reno, NV to O'hare and back. The trip is scheduled to depart on 4/21/[redacted] and return on 4/25. I have details on the flight times, dates, layovers, and likely airlines, with payment made using my Visa card. The apparent carrier numbers are United [redacted] or Boeing [redacted]-[redacted]. There's a 2-hour, 25-minute layover in Denver before heading to O'hare with the same flight numbers mentioned earlier. The return journey will be with Alaska Airlines Flight [redacted], with a layover in Portland, then to Seattle for a 50-minute layover, and finally, from Seattle to Reno on Alaska Airlines [redacted], arriving at 2:31 pm. I'm unsure if I need to receive more information or if Reno Airport will provide all the necessary details for the rest of my trip when I depart, similar to regular tickets. Do I have to carry all this information with me or will I receive official details? It seems like I should have more information. To Whom It May Concern, I made a car reservation through Expedia for Economy, hoping for transparency and security. Unfortunately, my experience has been disappointing even before picking up the car. I opted to pay extra for a Jetta, totaling $[redacted] with insurance and taxes. Post-booking, the total changed to $[redacted], citing additional daily charges for valid insurance in Guatemala. The local airport representative, Javier, informed me that the insurance included in the Expedia reservation was not applicable there. Moreover, despite booking a Jetta, we were told we would receive a Hyundai, which was priced lower on their site. Economy insisted on an extra $50 for proper coverage. I question why Expedia continues to endorse a company with bad reviews. Economy's misleading practices have eroded our trust in Expedia as a reliable booking platform. I am struggling to book a flight and car rental on Expedia. After selecting my flights and car rental, I am unable to proceed past the "Review and Book" page. I can't sign in, reset my password, or receive any customer support. An error message appears saying "An error occurred on this page. Please enter valid data," but there is no guidance on how to fix it. Even though Expedia recognizes my email, I'm unable to access my account without a password. I haven't received an itinerary number yet, and all support requests need this number. I have been stuck at this stage for hours and days.

I am inquiring about the status of my refund. I rented a car through Expedia with Hertz and bought insurance. However, upon arrival, Hertz informed me they had canceled the reservation as they had no cars available. I ended up renting from another company without a reservation. Now, I am trying to get a refund for the insurance through Expedia, but they seem unable to locate the reservation due to Hertz's cancellation. Am I going to lose the money paid for the insurance then?
