Terrible experience today with my family. American cancelled two flights. Did nothing to accommodate us for ruining our vacation. Shoved us over to Miami to stay the night and never even booked us a hotel. We have been up since *** am and found out our flight was cancelled twice, with no explanation or care that we were inconvenienced. When we got to the airport for our second flight, we waited in line an hour to get to the ticket agent to have them rebook us on the second flight. Sadly the only way to rebook was to stand in a terribly long line and just wait. We finally got to the first ticket agent who didn’t care a bit about the fact that not only was our first flight cancelled they also cancelled our second flight . We waited an hour to be shoved into a flight to Miami with no thought of acoodating us for our wasted time with a hotel. Now we are currently in line at customer service at **** pm yet once again waiting to get a place to stay tonight. This is extremely rude, unprofessional, and unexceptable customer service. We deserve to have been given some type of voucher to make up for ruining our long awaited vacation, and better customer service. I need you to contact me by tomorrow. I have always used Expedia and I deserve you to help me make my already ruined vacation better. I’ll never use American again, I hope to continue to use you. I am putting this experience on all my social media sites.
I trust that Expedia will make this right and come up with a resolution that is fair.
