Tried to cancel a non refundable hotel booking for ** February on the telephone. Nothing has happened though. I need a "cancellation actioned" notification from Expedia so that I can include it with my travel insurance claim that I'm making.*There is no facility to amend*cancel the booking on manage trips section as it's so close to the booked date.
GetHuman-trevcall did not yet indicate what Expedia (UK) should do to make this right.

I telephoned initially to the uk contact number to try to cancel booking but followed up with emails to *****@***.com to reiterate what I had already requested on the telephone. They did call back about ** hrs later in the very early hours to explain they were requesting a refund for me with the hotel which was odd as it was a non refundable booking. I was really asking for just a confirmation email of cancellation so that I could claim on the travel insurance. ** hrs later I had a call from Expedia to say I would get a full refund back to my credit card. I also received confirmation email while on the phone of the full refund of £***.**. Yippeeeee
