I received an email from Etsy stating that my shop, eclecticshopukltd, may have listings that fall under the new enforcement of the Prohibited Items Policy regarding amber necklaces, bracelets, or anklets. They did not specify which listings are affected. The email explains that items made of small amber beads smaller than 1.25 inches will no longer be allowed on Etsy starting February 15, [redacted]. Sellers are asked to stop creating new listings for these items, cancel any unshipped orders, and remove affected items from active inventory by the deadline. While it's disappointing, I understand Etsy's commitment to upholding their policies and maintaining a safe marketplace. I'll need to take action to comply with these new guidelines.

I purchased a Michael Jordan wall clock that was described as being slightly larger than the size of my hand. However, upon receiving it, I found that it was not as described. I spoke to Maneeta yesterday, who mentioned that I would receive an email, but I have not received any communication yet. I am eager to resolve this issue promptly to continue using this service. I placed an order on December 22, [redacted], which was part of a larger purchase. I received shipping details, but when I tried to track the item, it showed that it was never shipped. Following Etsy's instructions, I reached out to the seller, but it has been over 48 hours without any response. I noticed that the store from which I made the purchase is now unavailable. I simply want a refund, but I am unable to find any way to contact customer support for assistance. Clicking on the provided links seems to lead me in circles without any solution in sight.

Hello, I have been seeking assistance for a few days regarding my new ETSY account without receiving any response. I am unable to access my new account, which I created on [redacted]-02-08 using a link for 40 free listings. After setting up the account, adding items to sell, and being active for a few minutes, I was unexpectedly logged out. Since then, I have been unable to log back in, receiving the message "You may be unable to access your account." I have contacted support multiple times but have not received a solution to this issue. I recently made a purchase on Etsy, and unfortunately, my order was delivered to the wrong address. Instead of being sent to me in Dallas, it was mistakenly sent to my niece in Nashville. This has happened before, and I am quite disappointed with the situation. I reached out to my niece and asked her not to open the package, but I am unsure if she will cooperate. The order number is #[redacted], and the seller claims the shipping address provided was Nashville, which I did not specify. I suspect there was an error on Etsy's part. I purchased a dish that was described as flawless, but it arrived unwashed and now has significant staining that makes it unsuitable for display or serving. I tried to wash it, but the stains are stubborn. I don't have a camera phone to document it. The seller's pictures didn't show the pink stains. Why should they show up in mine? Not all flaws are visible in photos as they need to be the same size as the item. Sellers should not insist pictures tell the whole truth. I rely on the descriptions, which in this case said it had no flaws. I struggle physically, even opening the package was hard. Now I have to bear the cost of returning it. Please understand, some flaws are not visible in photos. Sellers need to be more honest. I'm requesting a refund as this item has no value as described.

Hello, My name is Lera. My Etsy shop (SCNDSKINWEAR) got blocked after a buyer filed a claim on PayPal for receiving the wrong product. I missed the notification from Etsy that required resolution within three days, resulting in my account being suspended. Order/receipt number [redacted]. I recently tried your company instead of Amazon and purchased a jacket that turned out to be too small for my wife. I requested an exchange or credit for the correct size, but was asked to provide 2 pictures and 1 video of the issue, which I find excessive. I believe good customer service should prioritize resolving such matters promptly. I am still looking to return the item and receive the proper size or a credit. Without a satisfactory resolution, I am hesitant to continue supporting your business. It is important to address such customer concerns efficiently to maintain satisfaction and loyalty. I hope to receive a return label and credit promptly. The jacket remains unused and in its original condition.

I recently purchased a 4-inch Variegated Syngonium Albo with a $8.00 heated pad, totaling $51.00. However, I received a cheaper 3-inch pot instead. After multiple discussions with "Planted Portland," they initially refunded me for the heated pad, but later claimed the refund was for the pot size difference, which I know is untrue as it matched the heated pad cost. I couldn't provide a photo as I only have a landline due to my age. Despite admitting the error, Etsy requires a photo to open a case. As a senior living off my social security income, I just want fairness. I carefully debated this plant purchase and appreciate your attention to this matter. I placed an order for a painting on March 1, [redacted], from EvenMoreArt on Etsy.com. I paid via credit card through PayPal. Upon realizing the seller is based in Kyiv, Ukraine, where there's currently a war, I grew concerned about the status of my order. I bought earrings from Sara at On the Rocks some time ago. I wasn't satisfied with them and emailed her about it. Shortly after, I received an email from Jewels and Chain regarding the return of custom gold earrings, even though they typically don't accept returns. I was confused but assumed Sara may have involved them for handling returns. I sent the earrings to Jewels and Chain. Later, Sara contacted me, and upon mentioning I sent them to Jewels and Chain, she clarified they were not affiliated with her. After Jewels and Chain returned the earrings, I checked them and sent them back to Sara. The USPS tracking shows that someone at Sara's address received them on 3/3/22 at 11:30 am. Despite emailing Sara multiple times, I haven't received a response. This situation has been distressing, and I am seeking a prompt refund from her. - L. Eisenbise

However, upon attempting to ship the package at Mailboxes Unlimited, I was quoted $46.90 for the cheapest shipping option. I attempted to create a seller account on Etsy through a promotion for the first 40 free listings. However, after following the steps, my account was suspended without any explanation. I was instructed to check my email for further instructions, but I never received any communication. I later discovered a note in the help section suggesting that the suspension might be due to an existing account, preventing me from utilizing the free listings. I then tried to open a new account using my business email, only to have that account suspended as well. I am eager to resolve this issue promptly so I can use their platform to sell my t-shirts. Despite my efforts to find information via email and the help section, I have been unable to receive clarification. I attempted to return the glasses as they didn't match the Vintage 80s style I expected, and the Cranberry Pink color didn't suit me. Not only do they charge a 20% restocking fee, but I also have to cover the return shipping costs. If the fee is 20% of $45.00 or the total of $43.64, plus the $5.25 return shipping, I'd be left with $29.61. This feels like a rip-off, and my review will reflect that. Alexandra - I understand your disappointment, but returns involve costs for a small business like mine, clearly outlined in my policies. Many vintage shops don't offer returns at all, so my policy is quite lenient. Perhaps Etsy might not meet your service expectations. Alexandra - Please refrain from making false claims in your review. These glasses are truly from the 1980s, in original packaging, and can have lenses added, as shown in previous reviews. Me - I wore similar glasses in the 80s, which were heavy. So, my review isn't deceitful. Alexandra - Just because you had a different pair doesn't detract from these being vintage. Check the reviews; lenses can be added, as depicted. Alexandra - Your approach impacts how people respond to you. Constructive feedback would have led to a more flexible return process, but resorting to untruthful criticism is inappropriate. Me - I'll dispose of the glasses since they're fragile. Cease this harassment, or I'll update my review with photos revealing their poor quality. I've accidentally dropped and stepped on sturdier glasses. Alexandra - Your threats are unfounded.

Dear Etsy Team, I am Naghman Iqbal, and I am disappointed by the suspension of my account. I have not engaged in any suspicious activity and am unaware of why Etsy views me as a risk. I opened my account in January [redacted] using my UK details. The primary reason for my suspension is an outstanding balance of 0.18GBP for listing fees. Due to business matters, I neglected my account, resulting in the unpaid fees. I have since settled my overdue balance, clearing the payment. I have removed all listings and will be more attentive to such matters in the future. I sell Leather Handmade Items that align with Etsy's policies, and I am willing to provide any necessary verification of their authenticity. This is the fourth time I've tried reaching out for help. I keep getting redirected to pages that don't function properly which is frustrating. For months now, I have been unable to write reviews for my purchases. When I try to leave a 5-star review, it automatically submits it as a negative review. I've attempted to contact customer service four times, and each time I end up on the wrong page with no resolution. I am disappointed in the lack of effective communication and service. If this is not resolved promptly, I will have to consider shopping elsewhere. It's frustrating that there is no phone customer service available for assistance. I'm really upset and feeling let down by the poor service provided.
