To whom it May Concern*I, Md Bariul Islam, bought return ticket from New York to Jeddah and Jeddah to Newark. The journey was for Umrah. On this journey we faced so many problems directly and indirectly from Emirates. The issues are booking and ticketing, airport handling and inflight service. I think you should consider this seriously because we expect better service from emirates.*First, we traveled on **th February **** from New York to Jeddah. My reservation no is FV*V*W (EK). I went to airport for check in. we are four passengers. But the representative of the checking desk said my infant baby’s name is not in the system. But after ** minutes waiting, he resolved the problem. But my question is- though my e-ticket states my sons name why he said it is not in the system. Why? I was travelling with my * years daughter, my infant son, my wife and other * family members.*When I asked the representative if he could assign our seat to front row with bassinet he told when you will be on the flight told the flight attendance. I am not happy with that. After boarding I told the crew the situation, they didn’t help me at all. I was sitting in the middle with my * years child my infant son. It was too long journey. Though my other members got bassinet. It should be automatic when any passenger travelled with infant. How come you expect a passenger can travel ** hours holding an infant!!! finally we safely arrived in Jeddah. We started our umrah though my wife was so exhausted.*Second, when we are coming back, I called emirates I made sure that I got the first row with bassinet. Everything was ok. But after We got on the shuttle bus for flight my son had Febrile seizures on the bus. After boarding on the flight, I informed the flight attended my son’s health condition is not good. He has a fever. They called medical team and we are told not to fly today. Moreover, they said don’t worry you guys can get off from the flight. We will take care of your son. We will provide you hotel and food if needed. We went down we had been taken back to airport for his treatment at approximately *o’clock. The doctor gives him treatment. It was not enough only two medicine. One is antibiotic and other one is paracetamol for fever. My wife holding with her baby has been laying on floor for * hours. There is no emirates crew that time. We were hungry. There is no restaurant in this area. I told the duty officer can you call any emirates crew to help for food and accommodation. The airport area was cold. The duty officer said he told. Nobody came. One person with our boarding pass came last hour before departure and I was being told by him that he will give the food voucher. But after that they didn’t give us and I didn’t ask because it was too late. But my wife asked about food voucher while we were waiting for waiting but the refused.*Third, before we start our journey again, I asked the airport doctor to give me the prescription and report that my son is ready to fly because I want to make sure my son is ok. But the doctor didn’t give me.**Fourth, our flights were Jeddah to Dubai, Dubai to Athens and Athens to Newark. Jeddah to Dubai son was ok. We had two-hour transit. During checking I asked them to give us seat together in a front row they gave my wife and my daughter seats together and my seat was behind them. After that when my wife asked for bassinet the flight attendant refused to provide that and stating that he is too big for bassinet. So, my question is when I booked the ticket why you didn’t tell that my baby is two big for bassinet. Otherwise I could buy a seat for him. It is not possible a person will hold her baby ** hours. If his mom falls asleep who will take the responsibility for that kind of incident. i stated the supervisor of that flight. He said he will report about us.*Fifth, we are heading for Athens during the journey my baby again got high fever. I gave him medicine whatever I was told to treat. Then the supervisor said in Athens airport the medical team will come to see him. They came after arriving. They took my wife and baby in the hospital. And my daughter and I were told to proceed for boarding and my baby including his mum are coming after examine the baby.*But when I arrived for boarding, they told me your baby and wife are not flying today. Then I told we are not leaving without them. So now that thing happened only in Jeddah my son didn’t get proper treatment. **Now we had been waiting for visa for * hours.**I had to pay for my visa ** euro. If it is in Jeddah, I would not have to **I had to pay for our accommodation and food because emirates refused to provide **I could not start my job on time**Moreover, so much mentally and physical stress.**I forgot to tell from Athens to Newark they gave me bassinet so why did you guys refuse to provide bassinet from Dubai to Athens?*That’s why I want that you will take a proper step regarding this situation so in future none can handle this situation like me. And I want some kind of compensation for emirates because of this pretty bad service. **Kind regards *Md Bariul Islam
