Re: Reference number OTWBMM*EVA Air Ticket **** ************ Hello Eva Air Customer Relations Team,**I am emailing in regards to the cancelled flight on June **rd, **** Eva Air flight BR*** from Taipei to Vancouver. This flight was cancelled due to the strike which would cause me to miss my meeting. The poorly managed situation left me no other choice but to purchase another last-minute one-way ticket to arrive in Vancouver on time for my meeting.***In the days leading up to the original flight, I called Eva Air customer service at both the Taipei and Vancouver number with no success of reaching a customer service representative. I had never encountered customer service this poor. In addition, on Jun **nd **** I emailed Eva Air regarding my flight situation again with no reply. On June **,****, I emailed Eva Air again concerning my situation with my flight in hopes of receiving any response but was once again disappointed. ***I did not receive information about an end to the strike, nor information from any of your staff about the next steps. My time is valuable and every second I lose is both financial and commercial loss., I therefore had no other choice but to book a ridiculous **-hour flight journey with China Airline CI*** from Taipei to Manila and Philippine Airline PR*** from Manila to Vancouver. This was certainly NOT my first option and I am sorely disappointed that I was not supported by your company during this difficult time. I request a FULL reimbursement for my extra journey with reference to all receipts and information attached.** **Please reimburse me in FULL for this issue, I am not interested in hotel compensation and food allowance. I am looking forward to a satisfactory resolution to your company’s embarrassing service.***-Gary Tsang
