If you lost your luggage you should go to guest services in the airport and report it immediately. Once you do that you can submit a claim there. They will then give you a claim number. You will need that for future reference.
The issue in GetHuman-prom_cha's own words
Hi Team,**I was travelling from MNL * DEL Via routes MNL * TPE * PVG via EVA Air and PVG * DEL (China eastern)**ITIN - *************I flew: Manila—*Taipei—*ShangHai—*Deli**Manila, Taipei and Shanghai was on Eva Air. Shanghai to Delhi was on China Eastern Air. Because I flew on China Eastern, I was required to collect my luggage, get new boarding pass. Since all of my flights were delayed and running behind, when I arrived to Shanghai, airport staff was waiting for me as soon as I got off of my flight and took me to immigration, and collected my new boarding pass. I let them know I had luggage and he said there was no time to get my luggage and recheck it. He said it would be sent to my final destination. But when I told him the baggage ticket on it would says Shanghai (because it was ticketed by Eva Air), he still said it was fine.
GetHuman-prom_cha did not yet indicate what EVA Air should do to make this right.
