I visited Dollar General in Orlando, Florida on Valencia College Rd, [redacted], where I purchased a box of Kellogg's Frosted Mini Wheats Cinnamon Rolls flavor and paid with my credit card. After discarding the receipt, I discovered the cereal was expired since December 8, [redacted]. Upon returning to the store with the credit card receipt on my phone for a refund, the staff member refused assistance since I didn't have the register receipt. I even pointed out other expired products on the shelf, such as the Golden Flake Pork Skins I purchased last week while they were on sale - all three bags were expired. I am seeking a refund or an exchange for these expired products.

I am having trouble creating an account because it seems like the previous owner of my phone number already has an account linked to it. It would be helpful if Dollar General could send a verification code via text to confirm the ownership of the phone number by the current user. This matter should be resolved quickly since implementing this feature could lead to an increase in app downloads, digital coupon usage, and ultimately more sales/profits for Dollar General.

I am a former employee of Dollar General at store #[redacted] in Bandera, Texas. I was terminated recently due to a false suspicion of carrying a concealed firearm. I have always been a dedicated and hardworking employee with a strong work ethic. My termination dispute form has been submitted, but I am unsure if it will be reviewed. I have had a positive relationship with my colleagues and supervisors, and my customers appreciated my service. I believe my reinstatement would greatly benefit the company, and I am eager to return to work. I am hopeful for a reconsideration of my termination to continue contributing to the team and serving our customers.

I had a frustrating experience at Dollar General about a month ago. While using the self-checkout, an employee didn't assist me correctly, causing me to switch to a different register. Then, another employee wrongly accused me of stealing, but eventually checked me out. Upon leaving, I realized I left some items behind and returned to collect them. However, they refused to give me the forgotten items and insisted I retrieve them myself. When I came back and asked for my possessions, they held them back, linking it to the previous misunderstanding. They even mentioned pressing charges. I just want my belongings back, especially my daughter's phone. The situation was mishandled, and the staff's unprofessionalism was disappointing.

As a 68-year-old woman living with Parkinson's disease, I faced discrimination at the Dollar General store in Mantua Township, New Jersey, on May 23, [redacted]. The management team and other employees called the police on me, claiming I was out of control and possibly under the influence of illegal drugs. To whom it may concern, on the 25th, my son and I visited Dollar General in Stockbridge, Georgia. We used a food stamp card at the self-checkout, but the receipt didn't print. The staff assured us the transaction went through, but later I found out it didn't deduct from my food stamp balance. When I returned the next day, the staff accused my son of stealing groceries and refused my offer to pay for them. The situation escalated unnecessarily, and now they are threatening legal action. I tried to explain the error and my willingness to settle the $75 bill, but the manager, a rude and unhelpful lady, refused to cooperate. I fear for my son's safety due to this misunderstanding. I downloaded the DG App on my phone to add items to purchase, and my digital coupons were applied. When I went to the nearest store, the self-checkout didn't show the discounts. An employee helped but seemed annoyed. After my husband paid, we left. I'm trying to fix the issue on my phone and plan to request a $9 refund due to the coupons not being applied. The D G store in our town is conveniently located for everyone. We visited on 5/31/23 around 11 am and noticed that the outside area near the front entrance was heavily littered. Inside, the shelves were sparsely stocked, and the overall store appearance was not very appealing. There were two employees at the front who didn't seem occupied with customers. I mentioned to my wife that one of them could have been tidying up instead of just standing around. I thought it important to share this feedback with you so that you can enhance your store's image and attract more customers. Thank you, a concerned customer.

I don't have any issues with anyone at the store. My aim is to download the app to access coupons and participate in Penny shopping. Although I successfully downloaded the app, I encountered an issue when entering my phone number. The app indicated that the number already exists, as it was previously registered under my husband's name before he passed away in [redacted]. I chose to keep his number, unchanged since [redacted], in his memory. I am not willing to change the number but would like to utilize the app for discounts, sales information, and making orders. I had a very unpleasant experience with the cashier at the store located at Parker Road and [redacted]. The cashier was rude and inappropriate, making derogatory comments and acting arrogantly towards customers. He made offensive remarks, argued with customers, and even made inappropriate remarks to an elderly woman. His behavior was disrespectful and unprofessional. I witnessed his disrespectful conduct towards customers, including myself, and I am appalled by his lack of professionalism. I will not be returning to the store unless this cashier is replaced with someone more respectful and considerate.

While in Moffat, Colorado at Dollar General, I witnessed a customer verbally abusing and threatening another customer at the register. Shockingly, the cashier remained silent during the ordeal. When the threatened customer inquired about buying ice, the cashier unhelpfully walked away, claiming they didn't have any and advised her to go to a nearby ice machine. This incident occurred around 5 pm on July 4, [redacted]. This unpleasant experience solidified my decision not to frequent this store on future visits to the area. My sympathies are with the woman who was subjected to such mistreatment.

I am concerned about the behavior of a manager at a store where I was accused of shoplifting. I am a frequent shopper at Dollar General, located at [redacted] Elizabeth Ave in Elizabeth, N.J. I visit the store more than 5 times a week. I appreciate the polite, helpful, and professional attitudes of the store managers and employees. Past manager, Andrea, was great. However, the new Spanish young man manager, while helpful, uses inappropriate language with profanity during interactions at the store. It is not directed at customers, but it is still concerning. I understand the neighborhood may have some challenges, but I believe he should work on improving his communication when dealing with the public. I hope he can enhance his people skills without losing his job.

I am a Neighborhood Association officer and I would like to address some concerns regarding the Dollar General store in Louisville, KY at the Bon Air Shopping Plaza on Del Rio Place, zip code [redacted]. The store's inconsistent operating hours and frequent closures, sometimes in the middle of the day, have been frustrating. Additionally, essential items that are supposed to be stocked have been missing, affecting our diverse community ranging from young to elderly residents who rely on this store, especially during the pandemic. There has been poor management turnover over the last three years, greatly impacting the store's reliability. Before escalating the issue to the Louisville METRO Council and Better Business Bureau, we urge the store to become fully operational and address these ongoing concerns promptly. Store - [redacted]: On July 15th, I visited this store to utilize my $5.00 coupon. However, at checkout, the cashier mistakenly did not apply the discount. The cashier seemed inexperienced and was unsure how to resolve the issue. A new employee who was in training assisted me and noted down the problem, advising me to return for the manager's approval. I was mistakenly charged for an order I did not collect. I placed an online order, but upon arrival, only 5 out of 12 items were available. I requested to cancel and paid for the available items separately due to a difference in pricing. Despite canceling, I was unexpectedly charged later that night at 11pm for the original order that I did not receive. I am seeking assistance in obtaining a refund. Hello, my name is Ms. J and I recently visited the Dollar General on [redacted] West Market Street. The staff they have are quite disrespectful, especially the manager who is very unpleasant. There are young boys who come in every day and walk out with items without paying. I have raised my concerns but the manager was rude to me. I have pictures of the parking lot in Chillicothe, Ohio at one of your stores. I would like to send them as I have lived here for a year and no one has attempted to remedy the situation. I am concerned that someone may fall in. Additionally, why are your stores so packed? I worked for Dollar Tree for eight years and we were always instructed to keep the aisles clear. Due to health reasons, I am unable to work now. I would be willing to help rearrange items properly on the shelves. Even though your stores have been great to me, some employees may require assistance. The stores, especially the one in Ohio, need to be cleaned up. I travel between Chillicothe, Columbus, Dayton, and Cincinnati in Ohio, and although your stores offer excellent products, they appear cluttered. The parking lot on Main Street in Chillicothe is in poor condition and needs urgent attention to prevent accidents. Thank you.

I live in Chillicothe, Ohio, and I have noticed that the store on Main Street requires significant repair in the parking lot. The merchandise placement is also an issue, as products are still in boxes on the floor instead of being neatly displayed on shelves. This seems to be a consistent problem in various locations I have visited, like Dayton, Chillicothe, Cincinnati, and Cleveland. It would be more customer-friendly if the items were organized properly on shelves rather than obstructing pathways. Thank you.
