Please forward this to your Retention Department. **Since I am not able to get any reasonable answer from your telephone system, I’ll try the old-fashioned way and send a letter. Sir, your customer service system is nothing more than punishment for my subscription to your service.**Every time I go to Sam’s Club, your Directv salespeople hit me up. The last time, I told them my service is Directv, the one that goes out every time it rains. The salesman told me I should request an upgrade of equipment because since AT&T bought in, they have put billions of dollars into better equipment. OK, I made an appointment for ** AUG **. The service tech never showed up. The dispatcher finally told me they do not have enough of the new receivers and my upgrade would have to be rescheduled. The new date was to be today, ** AUG **, between **** and ****. Again they did not show up. This time I was told that there was no service technician available. After being on hold for ** minutes, I finally got to speak with a human who told me that error code *** is just a fact of life with satellite TV and there is nothing they can do about it. That is directly contrary to what your salesperson told me. No whisper of a cost adjustment for waiting another * hours with no tech showing up, instead she assumed I was seeking compensation for the *** code.**I live in the country. When it rains and storms move through, I want to see the weather channel. We cannot get cable to our house so Directv and Dish are the only choices. Your customer service system has been nothing but frustrating. I can’t even find out where to return your equipment if I switch to Dish. Is there something I can do to get this situation made better or am I doomed to crappy technicals and crappy customer service?**Please understand, I do not need a small antenna dish. I live in the country. Send your people out here with a big dish if that is what it takes. Upgrade the receivers if that will help. Just get someone out here to fix it. Please. **Was going to send this letter via mail but my wife found this internet complaint site. This afternoon was the fourth time we have had a * hour appt window and no one showed up. Why are we being punished?
