Sirs,**I was gifted a brand new Dell laptop ( Dell Inspiration ** ****,Service tag:DMY*ZN*d) and it was functioning well.*A few days back while I was on FaceBook the page went off and a screen message appeared that my computer was locked by Microsoft based on a suspected virus.*I was surprised how it could happen as Microsoft Office hadn’t even been activated! I attach the screen shots of the PC.*Anyway I dialler the number shown on the screen who immediately recognised my PC and the problem! The voice demanded that I would have to pay $*** to set the problem right! I wondered if Microsoft would go to the extent of extorting money from its customers!*I had my doubts and searched a few Microsoft forums and was shocked that many had had such experiences. It was phishing!*I am an from India and I wish to take back the PC back to India.
