I bought an HP Envy from Curry's on **th April ****. The keyboard and the trackpad are defective. The keyboard's caps lock sometimes works, sometimes it doesn't. Shift * letter should give a capital letter* however, for four or five letters, this does not work. Sometimes I can type numbers, sometimes I cannot - trying to type a * results in typing a $, for example. The trackpad sometimes works and sometimes it does not. When it is not working, random sections of text are highlighted (as if ready for copy and pasting) and are difficult to un-highlight. When it comes to copying and pasting, the problems REALLY begin. Once again, sometimes it will work fine (which demonstrates that I know how to copy and paste), but more than half the time (using exactly the same technique), the word(s) that I want to highlight are impossible to capture. In fact, completely random sections of text are highlighted - and once again, "un-highlighting" these sections is difficult.**I understand that this is a very difficult time for everyone - it's *th April **** and the height of the Coronavirus crisis. I am a teacher and I am supposed to be teaching online, using apps like Zoom, collating homework, and creating lesson plans. All of this is IMPOSSIBLE on the HP Envy in its present state. (By the way, these issues have been ongoing ever since I bought the computer. I simply did not use it very much, preferring to work on the computers at work.)**I desperately need to have access to a working computer so that I can carry out my work duties from home.**As my HP Envy is still under warranty. **I need a replacement laptop.
