I have an open account with mediacom for $*** according to credit karma. When I called mediacom and the collection agency to pay it they both told me the balance was $***.** so I thought I was filing a dispute about the amount and accidentally created an account with transunion and never did get anything resolved. Now because I created that account that I dont want my credit score went down ** points which is very upsetting to me because I had just gotten it over *** now I'm back where I started from. There needs to be a more clear way to talk to credit karma when things like this happen. I need to know why credit karma shows $*** and I need to know how I can get my credit score back to where I had it. Transunion is one of the credit agencies and I just wanted to know why there was a discrepancy in amounts. I did not know I was signing up with them. I am working very hard to build my credit up and I almost cried when I saw it had went down over ** points. I hope this gets resolved.
