I have been a loyal customer for ** plus years. I have always paid on time. My monthly bill was raised again! I do not believe I received the customer service I deserve. I just got off the phone with a retention specialist because the previous tier person could not answer my questions regarding my loss of discounts. I spoke to a female by the name of Nyle (sp?). I was basically told that some of my discounts expired. This tells me that my rate will probably go up again when the fees are no longer pro-rated for the month. I was told that I was getting a great deal and they could have increased it by about another $**. I could lower my bill more by losing my premium channels or downgrade my services etc.. I was told that It will cost me approximately $*** to get out of some a non-specific contract that the bronze or gold "bundle" no longer applies to my account. WHAT? I am not mad or furious at the people I speak with as they are probably doing the best they can with the rules and guidelines that they are given. I have always enjoyed and respected Cox service and help. I am just getting tired of being treated with a “take it or leave it” attitude. I am an extremely loyal customer. I don’t know what has changed with COX’s billing, but it almost seems like someone is poking me with a finger in my chest and asking me “what are you going to do about it”! I no longer feel appreciated as a loyal customer. I do not want to leave nor am I threatening at this time. Even in human relationships when a person feels like they are no longer valued or appreciated, they have to change their situation in order for them to feel good about themselves. I am truly unhappy with the result of my inquiry and am beginning to feel as loyal to COX as I believe they are being loyal to me. Other than that, I wish you a happy and healthy new year.*Ed
