The issue in GetHuman-bejernig's own words
I was charged $** for someone to come out an install a cable box. We were using the mini box out of one of my other bedrooms in place of the actual box in the living room because the one we had quit working. I picked up the new box and my husband tried unsuccessfully to get the box to work and the remote. He called for assistance with the install and they sent someone out. My remote does not work the TV and box simultaneously. You have to turn the TV on and then switch to cable and turn it on. Never had to do that before so I know it is not working properly . My issue is you charge me $** dollars for an install that is not complete and took my mini box for my other TV. I am to the point of completely giving up on Cox Cable. My bill continues to increase for basic cable and Internet and you charge for a service that was only half complete. I know people that pay less for their internet and cable and they have more service than we do. I'm too the point of cancelling my service and moving on!
