My cell phone recently died. I bought a replacement phone from my long-time provider, U.S. Cellular. Yesterday, a U.S. Cellular representative assured me "anyone" could transfer*e-mail service to my new phone. After ** minutes U.S.*Cellular gave up trying & referred me to Cox local service office (in Owasso, OK) . A young man there set forth a convoluted land line (***) ***-****) scheme to authenticate & obtain a new security code or number.*Cox subsequently reported a * digit number, specifically** *******, to my land line. Upon attempting to continue *this transaction, a message window advised only an * digit *number was acceptable.**This morning I have been on hold at (***) ***-**** for** hour & *** minutes.**Would someone from your fine organization be kind enough to call me at (***) ***-**** -or- (***) ***-****?
